My partner and I stopped by 290 Locale Winery & Pizzeria about 30 minutes before closing, and despite the late timing, the two servers who helped us “Kaitlin and Lilah” were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They easily could have rushed us or made us feel like an inconvenience, but instead they treated us with genuine hospitality and great service.
It’s rare to experience that level of professionalism and warmth so close to closing time, and it really made a lasting impression on us. The staff there clearly care about their guests and the experience they provide.
A big thank you to those two servers for going above and beyond. Management should be proud of them – and honestly, they deserve a raise.

We had the Vino and the LBJ. Both were wonderful. The whole table raved about the Vino.
Beer selection is smaller but covers the bases.
Over all, I highly recommend and I am looking forward to coming back and trying something new.

Yummy pizza, friendly service, and decent wine/beer selection. The garlic knots were an off menu item of fluffy, buttery pillows of bliss that were devoured before a picture could be taken. We got the maritza pizza on New York style crust that was light on the sauce with a decent under carriage. The maritza is an elevated Hawaiian style pizza with jalepenos, hot honey, and a dill ranch sauce that blended a harmonious melody of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors. All the beers are served in aluminum tumbler style cups to keep them cold. This pizza didn’t reheat well in the air fryer. Otherwise solid all around

The better half and I walked in for lunch today and were blown away…
Jennifer was there to greet us and took care of our food and drinks as well…and she did a great job, both with just being friendly as well as making some great suggestions.
We asked what she likes and she recommended the Chicken Bianca New York Style (14 inch) with the Pancetta…that was a little off menu but totally was lights out! Tons of flavor, a razor thin crust, and just the right amount of toppings.
For the appetizer, we ordered the Historic 290 Cheesy Bread…it’s a little Detroit style but also is gluten free…and unless we were told, would never have known it…literally the best garlic bread either of us have even had!
Nice beer and wine selection…the lions share being Texas made.
To top it off…free classic video games…did get in a few rounds of Pac~Man.
Definitely will be back!

Waited last night for 2 hours for our meal. Looked like maybe 4 teenagers working the whole place. Just told pizza oven was working slowly. A child’s Easy Bake oven would have been faster. They should have turned customers away letting them know how long it was going to take. Saw several families leave their tables after drinks and waiting so long. Restaurant should have closed down. Never going back.

Wish I could give it a zero. Service was horrendous. It took 1 hour and 35 minutes for the first pizza to arrive. The other pizza followed about 25 minutes later. Two hours to get our complete order. We did get some follow up about 65 minutes into our ordeal and were told they were behind and it would be about another half hour. More lies. We tried to complain to the manager only to be told she had left two hours earlier. Imagine, Dec 26, Christmas festivities all around, one of your busiest days of the year and the mgr leaves leaving a bunch of kids to run the place. The pizza was mediocre at best. Perhaps the worst dining experience of my 71 years

I was here with a school class trip and came here to eat while waiting. I ordered the New York lunch special pizza, build your own. Had a great salad before the pizza was done. They make a dill salad dressing that is awesome! Service is VERY GOOD and the place is nicely set up. They also have wines but driving I couldn’t try those.
