Always wanted to try? Grab a to-go order! Convenient location on the edge of town, sweet local server. It’s kinda spendy for lunch ($25) but huge portion big enough for two. Tons of natural light, hip decor, awesome owner customizes food, allergy friendly, and real plants inside and out. The outdoor patio is great for large groups, parties and live music. Didn’t see to-go silverware (maybe my bad) and would like to have a buffet in-season but otherwise positive.

Super cute little Indian place located in the same building as an insurance agency. The entrance is on the 101 street side.

We ordered the garlic naan , which was a little overdone, but the chicken vindaloo was simply incredible. It came with jeera rice in a separate little pot, and the combination was fantastic.

They have a wonderful patio (when it’s not raining!) and a full bar inside. One of our friends had tried it yet despite being open a year. Do yourself a favor and enjoy vindaloo or masala, so nice to have a real authentic Indian restaurant in Curry County!

The waiter was great and very friendly. We ordered biryani, although it was good it wasn’t like a Usual biryani
They give you a complimentary wine along with your order
The ambience is great and probably your only Indian option in the neighborhood

This is the best restaurant so far in my road trip to Oregon. They definitely stood out from the boring and similar tasting Indian food. Chef had his own creativity over the comfort foods. This should be a must stop restaurant if you are visiting Brookings. This made our day because after a long time we finished every thing that we ordered.

We visited after seeing online that they serve American breakfast, but were told only the Indian buffet was available. Luckily, the buffet was freshly served and delicious. The paneer and daal were great—flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Unlike many Indian places that go overboard on the spices, the seasoning here was well-balanced.

Wonderful early dinner. Appetizer was prompt in coming and very flavorful. We had chicken tikka masala and chicken tandoori with garlic naan. We are very excited to come again and try more options.

So happy to have this option in Brookings!

I give 5 stars for the food, as it was very flavorful and authentic. However, I give 2 stars for the service. Although it was very friendly, there wasn’t much in terms of table service.

I will update the review after another visit or two. Please give this location time to adjust, as its flavors and options will surely continue to grow in this community. I believe they have another highly appreciated location in Eureka, CA as well.

First Visit Review:

The flavors were absolutely awesome, and I have never seen this many options in one place, considering the variety of proteins. However, the temperature left something to be desired, as everything was a bit lukewarm. Besides that, with the fresh naan and multiple buffet options/sides, it was still a very enjoyable experience.

Be prepared, as there are no directions when you arrive. This buffet is the type where you grab your plates when you first walk in and find your seat. I expect this may change, but this is how it is on day one. When I asked, the employees seemed a little confused. Patio is open depending on the weather.

The entrance can be confusing to locate, if you are not from the area. It may seem like you are walking directly into a State Farm office, but I assure you that if you keep going, you will find a door further down the corridor leading to some really good Indian food.

Currently, it is set up buffet-style. I never did receive water, although they brought me fresh naan. Water may be self-serve, but again, there were no directions for patrons. Signs would definitely help.

The buffet has a lot of options, featuring different proteins and vegetarian options as well as fried potatoes (similar/almost better than American fries) and fried onions.

I thought the food was super tasty, but it was not hot…only slightly warmer than Luke warm to touch. The service could have been A LOT better. We stood in the dining room for at least 5 minutes ended up seating ourselves and getting our own menus. Food is good, but it needs to be heated up more or heat the dishes up before putting the food in them and they need to be more attentive to customers coming in.

Holy Mother of Samosas! Go inside and get yourself the best samosa you have ever had . Also, the service was top notch ! The paneer tikka masala … smooth as butter . Vegetarian choices galore and the Indian Pizza was plentiful with toppings, soft and flaky crust with good crunch, cheesy plus paneer, wow!!! A foodies dream. If I had to describe the food in one word, I would call it soft. The palette will love you for it ! Oh! And did I mention that the atmosphere is lovely and the service was so amazing?

Went for lunch on opening day and came to find out that it’s Buffet style only. Wish they would have mentioned that when they were telling everyone the opening date. There wasn’t much of a system regarding how you order, where you sit or really anything. But that is understandable on the first day so it’s learning. The oven apparently was broken so you couldn’t order Naan bread. No drink options besides water. And to be honest everything was cold. Nothing was hot. The flavor of the food was good, all the curry’s was on the watery side not. But not too bad in taste. I would come back to try an order when it’s not buffet style maybe the food would be hot then. Also seems that they are young girls running the show and have a hard time keeping up with everything and understanding the concept of waitressing, but they are very nice. Overall the experience was okay and more of a soft opening, they need to work on how they will run things and get a good flow of things. $20 for buffet each…

Ps they have ranch on all the tables, that needs to be refrigerated after opening
