I am a speakeasy connoisseur and by far this is one of trickiest entrances I’ve ever figured out (password changes every Tuesday at noon apparently?). The space was magical; reminds me of a cross of 1850 at JFK and Mr Lucky’s in London. If you beg borrow or steal your way in it’s a must visit.

Service is great and drinks are priced right. If you’re looking for the speakeasy, ask for a “Chicago handshake” and the bartender will show you to the hidden entrance.

The seating out back on the patio is great lots of room and also the speakeasy in the basement is also amazing. The food is to die for and fairly priced. The crowd is super nice and friendly also.

Winter time so we couldn’t enjoy the patio, but I have gotten to in the past. Ended my niece’s 21st bday at this bar and all I can say is the bartender was top notch. Cheers and thank you for making the night special!

Great little neighborhood bar. Very diverse in all aspects a real melting pot of people all looking to just relax and have fun. Hate to make myself appear too old but the Patio was fun when Gladys Barth was playing the piano and the weiners were 25 cents and they had a brand new heated nut hut. I miss the good old days when my nuts were hot.

Ok place nice dart boards. But count your drinks I was clearly over charged and didn’t read the bill till the next morning. I thought it was a bit pricey but I was buzzed and left. I will not be coming back. There are plenty of bars in Lakewood

No frills bar that does not serve food. Warm in the winter and cool in the summer you can expect the atmosphere to be nice when you want a drink. Drink prices are very good and the selection is on par with most other places in the area.
