Amazing! I had the cauliflower as a starter and monkfish for the main. For dessert I had a delicious and well-made pavlova!

Aside from the food, the service was excellent! The staff were attentive, kind, and polite.

I had wandered into this restaurant for dinner and was so glad that I did!

I have always raved about this restaurant to everyone I meet but I am so annoyed 3 days later I had to post. I understand times are difficult but it is also difficult for consumers and to pay £24 for tiny dried chicken, one asparagus and NO sides left me starving leaving the venue. I honestly thought it would be a case of needing sides would be too much but not in this case. We left and went to the shop to buy more food. Sadly I will not return any time soon which is disappointing as the staff are amazing.

Amazing service and great food – had sirloin steak and chicken and bacon roulade! Very nice atmosphere, would visit once again when in town!

Vegetarian menu really really needs updating. It was good a few years ago. Falafel burger was the driest thing I’ve ever had – even the bun was inedible (GF maybe -why??). Three members of our party of ten were really disappointed. A beyond meat burger or a decent homemade bean burger would be a great alternative.

This was our second year celebrating New Year’s Eve at Shipquay, and once again it did not disappoint! The food was excellent, as was the service and we had a great table for the entire evening. The music set the mood and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable- exactly what you want on New Year’s Eve. We’ll definitely be back next year! Thank you!

I really enjoyed my meal with my friends at this restaurant. The service was slow, especially towards the end and they forgot my friend’s veg she asked for. However, the staff were really lovely. We got free soup on the house and we asked for olives and they gave us a lot of olives. The wine, my fish and chips, the soup and my brownie were all lovely.

NOT COELIAC FRIENDLY. Biscuit crumbs on the ice cream?? Biscuit with a cup of tea…. Everything you think is naturally gluten free is ruined with gluten. Chicken was dry. I won’t be back

Amazing, one of the most relaxing places I’ve ever had an afternoon lunch.

My partner and I had the fresh haddock & chips and Hereford prime beef burger, both 10/10 top quality.

The staff were so friendly and the place really has that boutique hotel feel. This restaurant would not be out of place in Dublin or London!

The atmosphere was very relaxing with good music for a chilled autumn afternoon. The wine was very good and the service was second to none.

We will definitely stay in this hotel on our next trip to derry. Very reasonable prices also. £40 for 2 glasses of red, 2 main courses with sides.
