My wife and I wanted a nice place place to unwind. We chose the Spanish food to eat. The food was great but the drinks were absolutely amazing, the Margaritas were a little stiff, but watch out for the the Pinacolaras and Mojitos they will drive a nail in your coffin .

This is a nice little local restaurant with lots of Louisville memorabilia inside. The service was amazing and the food was even better. Sat at the bar and had my dinner. The waitress talked to us forever. It was a very nice experience. The food was way better than I thought it would even be. Overly impressed. I’ve passed this restaurant up several times and never went in always chose somewhere different to go. I won’t be doing that anymore this will definitely be one of My go-to now.

Me and husband ate at Costa del Sol in colonial Garden, and it was an experience that I would do over again daily. Your food is phenomenal. Their menu is huge and descriptive and not only do they have Mexican food, but they also have Moroccan food. A huge bar menu and a really good environment all around.

Fish and chips made me vomit. Hush puppies and pretzel both came out with a dark coloring and burnt smell, like the oil hadn’t been changed in ages. My fiancé and I both tried the fish and it was mushy and tasted rotten… two bites later and I was running to the bathroom to puke. We asked for the fish and chips to be taken off, as they had literally just made me ill. We were only offered a redo on the fish and chips, which I obviously wasn’t in the mood for, but our server refused to take off anything. $67 for food poisoning, thanks so much BA(cteria) Colonial.
Updated: I wrote this review around 1:30pm, when we left the restaurant. As of 1:49pm, both my fiancé and I have vomited, after he only had one bite of fish, and I had two. I have never had such a disgusting restaurant experience, and that’s including getting food poisoning 2 days before Christmas.

DEAD POOL
Ate at the colonial resturant and it was terrible. Service was even worse than the food. It’s not really a resturant, it’s more of a bar that serves food. The completely screwed up my food order and the servers were never around. Had to ask for a refill on my water. Tables are dangerous, like tip over if u put any weight on it like rest ur elbows on table. Def will not come back here unless I wanted to drink alcohol and then I’d eat at the pizza place next door.

My friend and I were there for brunch and to celebrate her birthday. Once the waitress gave us our check, she never came back to see if we needed refills. We were served pretty fast, so it wasn’t long before we received the check. We did stay and chatted, but we both needed a refill not long after she picked up the check.

Had the best experience, loved our server, Dari. Very attentive and so the rest of the servers. Menu has a variety of food. Food was amazing, very fresh and really authentic. Would definitely recommend. Give them a 10!!! You gotta try this place.
