The aioli with the fries is top tier. All of the ingredients are fresh and full of flavor. The place is so chill with awesome decor. We were appreciated and welcomed the second we walked in the door until we walked out.
And once you think it can’t get any better, you find out they have nugget ice.
Definitely making this a go-to spot and I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.
I know everyone raves about the fries, but since one of our meals had them in the sandwich, we ordered the onion rings. The staff assured us they were awesome and they were! Don’t sleep on the onion rings!
Also PSA: they are card only!!
All the sandwiches here are served hot! Don’t sleep on the Lomo Saltado and the Muffuletta! The steak on the Lomo Saltado was tender and loved the aji sauce! Also tried the chimichurri fries, loaded potato wedges, house
slaw, and had to run away with a bag of Chicago style hot dog chips. The fries and wedges were magical! I can’t wait to go back and try their other sandwiches!
I love they have the small hospital like ice cubes. Owner Mike was super nice and love the neighborhood feel of this spot. Free parking lot makes it easy!
diovolo italiano and chopped cheese
fries were a old bay seasoning and made in beef tallow
all the ingredients were super high quality you can taste it.
Everyone come here!!! Going to have to keep coming back to explore the menu!
We also tried another Italian-style veggie sandwich and it was just as good. The homemade chipotle mayo on the side was a great addition, and the Woodwright salad was also delicious.
The owner himself was there, very kind and welcoming, and took the time to talk with us about the place. The whole atmosphere felt warm and inviting, and you can tell they care about the food and the customer experience.
If you’re in Jefferson Park or nearby, I highly recommend stopping in. I’ll definitely be back.
