google ” subway 2000s” and you will be hit with the nostalgia. The current Subway brand is far far from what it once was… I want to be positive here but I can’t…. Had a sub tonight and it was just blah…no flavor..no “yum” or ” wow” moments…The cookies still taste the same…cookies will always be the best part of the meal but its called “subway” not “cookieway”.

Stopped in with my husband and 3 year old daughter at 7pm 6/5. There was no one else in the store. We ordered 3 sandwiches. One being a child’s roast beef. The girl seemed to not know whether this was an option, even though we’ve ordered it before. We asked for one sandwich to be a meal, as well as the children’s sandwich. The boy said – so 2 small drinks? I asked if the kids meal came with an apple juice and chips. He didn’t seem to know. We tipped $5. When we sat down, the two looked at each other and motioned with their hands as guns like they were going to shoot themselves because we were going to sit down to eat. I guess they didn’t realize we saw them. Very uninviting. We packed up and left to eat at home. We were trying to support local. Our other experiences here have been a stark contrast to our experience tonight.

We made a quick stop at this location while traveling. The staff working was very welcoming and polite. We were the only customers at the time, and they eagerly satisfied our needs.
The food was fresh and promptly assembled and served. The store was very clean, and the atmosphere was the typical Subway. The parking lot allowed us easy access with our RV and car in tow. Thanks!

Just a quick note to say that I visited your location twice this week and Ryan and then Liam served me. Such great young men. Polite, engaging, mature and overall excellent customer service. Tremont location is not the closest to my home or work but I will continue to drive a little out of my way because of the service given and the cleanliness of the restaurant!

I used to be a regular here until they changed the management a few months ago, I usually go in the afternoon after I get off of work but about a month ago I went in during lunch time. When I went inside there were only a few people in front of me but it took them about 8-10 minutes to get to me then when it finally did this old lady walked away and took a order for the drive thru that just arrived when I had been waiting. When she finally got to me she had an attitude and was super rude, but I was hungry and just wanted to get the sandwich and get out so I continued saying what I wanted. When she was toasting my sandwich she touched her face around her mouth then didn’t change her gloves… does subway just hire anyone now? I wasn’t going to make a review since I already reported her, but multiple of my friends have had similar experiences with the same women and no one should have to deal with that when they just want some food. So be warned not to go there until they get some sense and get rid of her.

I went one afternoon for a quick lunch while on my break, and I was immediately greeted by an older woman who seemed very irritated from the start. I hadn’t been to subway in a while so I asked for a few minutes to look over the menu, when I did she sighed and rolled her eyes then continued to ask me what kind of bread 20 seconds later. There was also a young girl there who she was talking to in a very unprofessional manner and using inappropriate language. I get that it’s a fast food place and not meant to be fancy but it is still a job and needs to be treated as such. I didn’t feel welcome at all. I urge whoever owns this place to get her out or you will continue loosing customers.

The best service ever! To the girl with the tree tattoo on her forearm. You are amazing. I am OCD about how I like my food and I never really complain out loud but you made my sandwich the way I would make my sandwich. I noticed you picking out the big chunks of lettuce and you even picked off the stems from some of the spinach leaves. You confirmed with me if I had enough toppings or not. You were meticulous. I just wanted to let you know that nobody does this. You were reading my mind and anticipated what I wanted. I wanted to let you know I appreciate it. I know this was only a sandwich but I truly mean it when I say, you will do great things!

Other violations included improper hot-holding temperatures, soiled vents, an improperly cleaned floor behind the ice machine, cove molding coming off the grease trap and the nearby wall, and a hole in the wall of the draining area under the soda machine.

just read the Tazewell County Health Department review today in the Peoria Journal Star…. 7 violations….not a good look for our Subway in town..They are going to need to step things up or this could be the writing on the wall for Subway….Bring Blimpie back into relevance !!!
