I ordered the prime rib which came with perfectly cooked asparagus, some dash potatoes, which were like fancy scallop potatoes, and a large Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was good, and I was surprised at the size of it. But it had way too much Parmesan cheese slices on top and I had to take about half of those off as they were a bit overwhelming. My steak itself was cooked perfectly medium rare, but was very tough to cut. I had to ask for a large steak knife and the server was surprised when I asked for it. She came over to ask if my steak was cooked right I said “yes but for some reason it was a tough cut.” And it turned out to be very chewy ($40).
My son and wife shared the ($22)10 ounce Waygu cheeseburger which came with Beecher Flagship cheddar cheese, onions, aïoli, tomato… and a good amount of Parmesan fries. They also split an order of California rolls. They thought the burger was “pretty good”/not great. I had a couple of bites – liked the first bite and felt like the second bite was a little “gamey” for me. They didn’t finish the cheeseburger. They thought the California roll was about a 4.2 out of five stars.
So overall, I’d say don’t get your hopes up too high for the quality of food at this restaurant. And it is a bit expensive. The drinks were reasonably priced and the view might be pretty nice during the day.
Servers took our order didn’t ask how we like our steak and it came out well done and luke warm. she also brought out the wrong champagne splits, but we didn’t say anything being we thought it was her first job. Also portions were very small. After spending $250 plus tip…. The Point restaurant is a better option!
The menu has lots of options from steak to sushi! There’s something for everyone. We got a few of the appetizers & all were great!
Service was wonderful and staff was attentive.
Wonderful wine selections!
Server was reluctant to return to table to follow up & check on us.
