Found this little gem by accident. Tucked away just one block off the main route. A great family style restaurant. Nice atmosphere, very nice staff Our server, Maddie, was as sweet and congenial as possible. Best chow I’ve had in a long time. Their soup is the best. It out new “Go to place”. Great coffee ☕ too.

My fried cod was extremely good; almost the best I’ve had (the best was in a pub in Ireland). My husband’s Momence Burger was really good too. Friendly, prompt service. If I lived near, I’d come here all the time.

Seen the menu online decided to order breakfast my total according to the menu online for a couple omelettes French toast and a half order of biscuits n gravy came out to 29 dollars. Sent my daughter to pick it up was charged 62 dollars. Called and was told the menu is old and they can’t remove it. Definitely not worth that much for some eggs. Food wasn’t very good either. Beware of the bait and switch.

I just dined at Momence Cafe for the first time after hearing so many great things, and was still so impressed by how good the food was!! I had an omelette, soup (which changes daily and is amazing) and the French toast and everything was PERFECT. And everyone who works there is so so kind. Can’t wait to go back and try more!!

Stopped in on 06/11/2024 for lunch with my team from work.
I ordered the Fish and Chips lunch special. Two pieces of some of the most beautiful and delicious catfish I have ever had served with the side order of crispy french fries.
I was also offered two soup options that came with it and a dessert all for 14.99 plus drink.
Great job chef I was pleasantly surprised as good catfish is usually a hard dish to nail down and I typically would not order it but I was assured by my server but this catfish was actually very good and it certainly was great job
