This used to be my favorite Chinese place in town. I’ve been going here for 8 years but order from other places a lot now. The food was always really good but it’s gone downhill the past year. I’d give a 3.5 if I could but I kept 4 because they’re friendly and let you make substitutions for certain menu items. Unfortunately, the rice has changed a lot. It used to be really flavorful but it’s super bland now. The meat quality has changed and so has the lo mein. The pepper steak is all onions and peppers with barely any meat and it’s the same with king pao chicken and a few other options. The egg rolls are still good, as are the chicken wings.

I ordered the teriyaki chicken with shrimp, the chicken tasted really bad, felt like it was going bad before they decided to cook it. It gave out a strong smell, makes you wanna throw up. Never again!

Hello, the woman here is really unfair, I guess all black people look alike to her because I come in once a week for the same order. Nothing more nothing less and each time I am charged a higher price. When I asked her she handed me a receipt that said tax 15.00 and tax 7.00 lol so 22 dollars additional to my order for taxes.

This is a take-out only resturant. The dining room is littered with cases of supplies. They have not changed the service window since COVID with plexiglass barriers and a make shift food delivery system. I hoped the food would be better than the ambiance but was disappointed by lukewarm vegetables and meat. The egg rolls were greasy and cold. I won’t go back.

The fried wontons are really good, the shrimp egg rolls are small…the food is good however they did forget the sauce for my appetizer And mixup one dinner that was supposed to have vegetables with the other one that wasn’t supposed to which was a bit upsetting but very smooth take out process.

Let me start by saying how nice these people are here. The guy especially is so sweet! Both though in general are very nice and have great English which I personally appreciate but not required of course. The dish I’ve mainly had is the sesame chicken. When these people say it’s to die for, literally it is. It’s so good! The best I’ve had in a long time tbh. The pork fried rice is also very good imo. Definitely a place I enjoy getting the food from. I ate it 3 times in a week last week….

Worked here locally traveling to Lynchburg from NC and this is the BEST Chinese food, the ladies that take orders are both very professional and there might have been miscommunication before, but they always got me right, coming back for sure if I’m ever around lynchburg

First time eating here. And def will not be back. Service was great, food bland as bland can be. Rice was dry even with soy sauce. Egg rolls barely had any filling. Dinners were more veggies than meat. Just not good all the way around.
