Haraz Coffee House truly excels when it comes to pistachio flavors. I tried both the Pistachio Matcha and the Pistachio Cheesecake, and they were nothing short of exceptional.
The Pistachio Matcha is beautifully balanced. The matcha is smooth and earthy, never bitter, and pairs perfectly with the creamy, nutty pistachio flavor. It’s not overly sweet, which really allows the quality of the ingredients to shine. Each sip feels rich yet clean, making it a drink you can genuinely savor rather than rush through.
The Pistachio Cheesecake is a standout dessert and easily one of the best I’ve had. It’s incredibly creamy with a luxurious texture, and the pistachio flavor tastes authentic and well-crafted — not artificial or overpowering. It strikes the perfect balance between rich and light, making it an ideal pairing with coffee or matcha. You can tell real care goes into their desserts.
Between the quality of the flavors and the thoughtful preparation, Haraz Coffee House offers a premium experience that feels both comforting and special. If you’re a pistachio lover, the pistachio matcha and pistachio cheesecake are absolute must-tries. I’ll definitely be coming back for these again!

We were downtown visiting and decided to stop in for some coffee, and we’re so glad we did! The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and full of charm. There are plenty of cozy little spots to sit and relax, and we loved enjoying our drinks while taking in the beautiful photos displayed on the walls—they really add to the character of the place.

Our coffee drinks were absolutely delicious, and anything made with their Dubai chocolate is outstanding. They also offer a great selection of sweet treats, all of which looked tempting and tasted just as good. Such a wonderful local spot—highly recommend stopping in!

Nice atmosphere, beautiful facility. Haraz Coffee was okay.
Customer services need improvement, i have asked for washroom code to open the door. But lock had issue was not opened, i end up requesting 2 staff members to open it took almost 10min minutes.

Found this place on TikTok, beautiful place, extremely clean, friendly atmosphere, great staff, the drinks are amazing, and the Dubai croissant is the best. If you’ve never had Turkish coffee, this is the place to go. I came from Traverse City, Michigan, and I will be back again.

The Turkish coffee is amazing and the avocado sandwich is fantastic. I enjoyed the coffee and service so much I ended up going back each morning on a recent visit to Detroit.

really love the decor and ambiance here it’s truly an experience every time I visit. However, when you’re charging a premium for pastries, I’d expect them to be top notch. There are just two things I really hope they can improve, because I genuinely enjoy coming here: the cheesecake and the tiramisu.

Unfortunately, the cheesecake tasted more like straight sour cream than an actual cheesecake, which was quite unpleasant. The tiramisu, on the other hand seemed like it had been frozen and then thawed, which made it watery and bland. Both desserts were disappointing compared to the otherwise amazing atmosphere.

I hope they can fix these issues, because I’d love to keep coming back and enjoy everything here to the fullest.

The Pistachio Latte lived up to the hype @ Haraz. Wow. I mean, wow. It’s a treat. Like having coffee and desert at the same time, with just enough jolt to get ya going.
And the service was fantastic. Very friendly vibe, unlike many coffee houses these days. Tip of the hat to KC, whose gracious attitude made us feel most welcome. We shall return!

Great atmosphere for work or socializing. The pistachio matcha and honeycomb bread were delicious. Prices were a bit more expensive than expected, but overall I’d recommend.

I recently visited Haraz Coffee Shop and was excited to try the Dubai chocolate croissant, given all the hype. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment and definitely overrated. The croissant itself tasted bland and stale, like it had been sitting out all day rather than being freshly baked.
To make matters worse, the Dubai chocolate wasn’t even properly incorporated. Instead of being filled throughout the middle, it was just stuffed at the very end, making it really awkward and irritating to eat.

I recently visited Haraz in Corktown, and I’m honestly blown away. From the stunning, intentional interior design to the well-curated menu updates, everything felt fresh and elevated. The new sandwich additions are not only delicious but truly crafted with care and flavor in mind. What stood out even more was the new matcha bar a brilliant move that brings in a fun, vibrant twist while keeping it classy. It’s clear Haraz is evolving while staying true to its Yemeni coffee roots. A must visit spot if you’re in Detroit. 5 stars, no question
