Ordered the Reuben and I ordered the onion rings as the side and coffee. They don’t offer creamer for the coffee and powdered skim milk ( it seemed) in its place. I chose to drink it black. Five onion rings were the up sale for an extra cost of 1.50 because I didn’t get the fries. No flavor even with added salt. The Sandwich didn’t have any memorable Swiss cheese or saurkraut and the 1,000 island came on the side. You can get more meat for 5.00 at Walmart (ew) and make your own. This is a one and done kind of place.

We had a large group, 40+ people on a Monday night. Of course, we called ahead and the manager also gave me a courtesy call day of the event to check the numbers. Party had grown slightly, he wasn’t worried, he had 2-3 extra servers ready. It was phenomenal service for a group who constantly has moving people who never settle in one spot. Food was great, side room at the Republic location is good sized for large parties. Can’t say enough good things. Checking in day of was super professional, we will be back. Go Team MOHR!!!

I arrived late for lunch (for me). The place was busy and the sign said “Please Seat Yourself”. About the only place I could find was a six top close to the door. It took a while for someone to take my drink order, but again, they were slammed.
I ordered wings and an IPA. I was impressed how everyone worked as a team. My server was busy, but another server filled in and took my order. The wings were delicious, the beer cold, and despite being super busy, they all took care of me. That’s the sign of a well-run restaurant.

Went to dinner at the Roost Bar and Grill on MM Hwy. It was very busy, the place was clean and had a fun atmosphere. They were a little slow, but they were packed and very busy, so… it’s ok.
I had the Philly w/ sweet potato fries, my wife had a chicken bacon sandwich and a side salad.
The chicken sandwich was good, the salad was very good, and the croutons had a unique flavor. The Philly was excellent. I get it with no peppers and add sour cream. (You should try them w/ sour cream, you won’t be sorry) The sweet potato fries were way overcooked. Burnt beyond recognition! (See photos) They just crumbled to dust when we would chew them. I couldn’t eat them.
That being said, everything else was so good, the service was friendly and the Philly was just so good!… I’m at 4 stars.
I would go back, I do recommend it, but remember the sweet potato fries.

Would have liked to have anyone care to acknowledge and serve us. B/T told us to sit anywhere after waiting at the front door with a sign that said a host will seat us. Our 4 top sat without menus and 2 servers running past our table in just in front of the bar several times without speaking to us. I asked who is our server to one of them and she said she was not but will give us menus. Several minutes after that I got up and asked the same person who our server is and she said they are going to be there. Waited a while longer. I told the B/T that we had no server and we are leaving. I considered giving a chance for them to fix the problem, but the rest of my party was already out the door. We then went to Big Whiskey’s nearby, had a great experience, and left a great tip!

Brought the family in on a Friday night and it was absolutely packed. They were clear that it would be about 45 minutes before food came out due to being so busy so I appreciated them letting us know ahead of time. Our waitress was on top of everything even though she was insanely busy. Food was great, 0 complaints from me there. My big complaint is we were sat next to a table of 4 people who were absolutely drunk and screaming and yelling the entire time. We got our food, and took it to go. I get that it’s a bar but I’ve never experienced a table of people like that, I was shocked nothing was said. Even the couple next to me got up and left, looking just as annoyed as we were. Unfortunately it was so busy so there were no other places to sit.

Roost gals adapted to our unplanned needs for multiple people in a semi-private setting without hesitation. Young bartender (dark black hair and great nails (did not get her name) made it happen with our waitress Kersten), were gracious, attentive and just plain sweet to our entire Willard High Class of 76 reunion group!
