Pleasantly surprised with this small town bar and supper club – the staff were excellent. Very attentive and accommodating, making everyone there feel right at home. Glen is a fantastic bartender and server!

Great place to eat! Had blacken salmon with bourbon sauce over rice with a side of broccoli and clam chowder soup. One of the best meals ever! A true Wisconsin type supper club menu.

I went for the Friday fish fry. The service was great. The staff super friendly. The fish, OK. But why is everything served in little plastic containers.? Dressing for your salad, served in plastic, baked beans served hot in plastic, coleslaw comes in a little plastic container, the drawn butter for my broiled fish came in plastic too. For me it was a big turn off. While everyone else seems to be trying to reduce waste, especially plastic, the Varsity Club hasn’t come around.

I recently went here, let’s start off with the fact that I was served UNDERCOOKED chicken, next there was a person who won pull tabs and they didn’t give them their winning, and their excuse was because they are not making enough money. Lastly the place was so dirty there were ants EVERYWHERE!!! I wouldn’t even recommend my worst enemy going here.. save your money and find somewhere worth it and you’ll have a good time at. The staff was nice but clearly the old creepy man who owns it needs a reality check

4.6 stars? I’d give it a 6 if that was possible. Great food, unreal service. As a former 25 year vet of the retail industry, i truly appreciate good customer service. Thought they went beyond what would have been great service.

Not set up too well for people in wheelchairs or not able to do stairs, but they said if we call ahead they would move their vehicles up by their house and we could park there and able to go straight into the restaurant! Food was pretty good and very reasonably priced! Service was outstanding!

Got seated right away then waited for 15 minutes before a nice waitress from the bar area had to come help us because our waitress had 3 table and was to busy to say be right with you. Then we ordered the 3 sampler appetizer and it says everything but the escardo. Which is fine so we order and to come to find out there are 3-4 they won’t let you do. Manager/owner disputed it was stated on menu even after waitress showed otherwise. So i give 2 stars because our waitress that came down to help us is was as helpful as she could be. Well was two stars till we got all are food at same time and everything was cold. Taking home to warm up. Wow just wow

I was in this place a few weeks ago. It was friday night. Our server was great her name was Courtney. She was running the whole place on her own. There was other people working but she helped them also…. I waited for over an hour and a half for chicken tenders and cheese curds. The guy that looks like Donald trump was carrying things from the creepy basement to the kitchen which is worrisome. I can’t imagine this place will last the way it’s been going.

Saturday night and only offering apps and fish. Guy cooking tells waitress not cooking anything but fried. Yet person sitting next to us just had a burger.
Won’t be back and will tell everyone I from Merrimack not to support.
Get your act together. Don’t buy and run a restaurant if you dont want to serve food.
