On a wet rainy night we showed up hungry, and ready to eat. There was only one waitress, but she was quick and patient with some of our questions. The walls have hand painted murals on them, and the tables were clean. Take a moment and invision yourself in a small town cafe with the heat of the day beating down on you to really enjoy this meal.
Horchata is requirement in our lives. If you’ve never had it the refreshing and relaxing drink is similar to a liquid snickerdoodle. Quite honestly I could make a meal out of the liquid alone. ( They offer a small or a large size.)
As stated by my better half, the wet burrito and chicken was good with the verde sauce, but the mole sauce would have made it wonderful. Just 3 asada tacos for myself, as I knew it was something simple. A green onion was served with the taco, and we have to say it was delicious pairing. We will have to be more adventurous next time we come to eat 🙂

This was our first visit and we weren’t disappointed. The food was amazing. We started off with the free chips and salsa which were all freshly made. Delicious! We ordered chicken enchiladas with green sauce and al pastor tacos pictured below. You’ve got to try this place.

The service and atmosphere at this restaurant were good but unfortunately the food was of low quality. we were told that the steak was going to be enough for two and that it was at least an inch thick. unfortunately, though, it was more like a 1/4 inch, and it was very tough.

I recently indulged in their Ribeye plate, and let me tell you, it was a fiesta on a plate! Juicy ribeye steak, zesty guacamole, succulent shrimp, fresh cactus, and mouthwatering quesadillas made for an unforgettable meal. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors!
But wait, there’s more! I kicked things off with their a Ceviche as an appetizer, and it was simply awesome. Fresh, flavorful, and just the right kick to get my appetite revving!
The service was just as stellar as the food. My server was friendly and attentive, making my dining experience all the more enjoyable. It’s a bit puzzling that the place was empty on a Sunday at 2 PM—definitely a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered!
So, if you’re in the area, give Los Güeros a chance. You won’t regret it! Treat yourself to some incredible food that feels just like a warm hug from Mexico.

I am super impressed with this restaurant! I lived in Mexico for a few months, and this food was super authentic. The esquites were a little different than what I was used to, but definitely delicious!
The pazole rojo was fantastic. Our server informed us that there would be a small wait for the soup as they were still preparing it. Totally worth the wait. It had a flavorful broth and super soft pork.
My friend had a wet burrito, and churros. Both of those dishes were very good as well.
Our server was did a great job at answering all of our questions. We were there for several hours chatting, and slowly enjoying our food, and never felt rushed. The bathrooms were very clean also.

My friend and I were really excited to try this place as it was new to town. I ordered the t-bone steak with shrimp when it came My steak was ever cooked, it was not a t-bone cut. Only two of the shrimp that I got were not dried to the point they were like jerky. Also as I was eating I noticed a long black hair at the bottom of my pile of guacamole. I called the waitress over and let her know about the hair she looked at it on my plate, I thought she was going to remove the whole plate as would be customary ( I work in and have been part of the restaurant industry for 15 years). But no, instead she uses her bear hands and scrapes off the guacamole into her other hand! I was absolutely horrified at this point. It makes me wonder if you are that blatant to violate health codes in front of a customer what’s going on inside your kitchen? Needless to say we will never eat here again. Update to los gueros This was on 1-29-25. I have no reason to lie about my experience at your establishment. I was there with a friend so I have a witness to everything I’ve said. Also I had to cut up my vegatables so by the time I got to eat my tacos my food was cold.

Food was very good. Service while not terrible, was slow. Portions were large, flavorful. Very basic inside, murals are a nice touch with traditional music. Chips & salsa were brought to the table complimentary. The flan was underwhelming, however the tres leche was huge!!!
