We ordered a small cheesecake as well as bites for our recent fall wedding; if you are considering Cheesecake Funk for catering, DO IT! These cheesecakes were such a hit with our guests, and my husband and I are excited to revisit the store each year to celebrate our anniversary with MORE cheesecake! There are simply too many delicious options to not return. Vanessa was very helpful throughout the planning process (there were a few moments of longer response times, however she was moving into her new storefront at this time and I can understand the chaos!) We were able to pick up our order the day before, and the cost was extremely reasonable!

Run don’t walk to this cheesecake bakery. I snagged the toasted coconut and it was heavenly. So decadent and delicious and the flavors just pop. Great prices and was 100% worth my drive. It’s easy to find, parking is easy, the staff was so friendly and asked engaging questions like how I heard about them. I was highly impressed with the quality of the cheesecake and the amazing staff. Can’t wait to try more flavors.

I ordered a strawberry cheesecake for my sisters gender reveal and we could not be happier with how it turned out! Cheesecake was amazing and the strawberries on top were so fresh and yummy.

Not only is Vanessa an amazing person, her cheesecakes are phenomenal. She made mini cheesecakes for our wedding and let us taste test ones we were interested in for free: I’ll just say it was a difficult choice because they were all amazing. Everyone loved them ❤️. It was hard to find someone accommodating as I have a severe peanut/tree nut allergy; i was turned down by multiple bakeries specializing in cheesecake, but she made me feel safe knowing I wouldn’t have to worry as she takes allergens seriously. Can’t wait to order another cake!

We walked into Cheesecake Funk on a whim this past weekend. It was absolutely fantastic. We have a chef in the family, and we’ve never encountered a cheesecake that even comes close to being as good as hers. UNTIL NOW! This cheesecake is amazing. They do offer a variety of flavors by the slice. My husband had the turtle and I had the raspberry white chocolate. What a treat! The owner was an absolute sweetheart. They also offer ice cream.

I first discovered Cheesecake Funk’s Turtle Cheesecake years ago at Paisley Park, and I’ve been hooked ever since! I’m so excited they now have a storefront in Excelsior, it’s my go-to stop after visiting the Arboretum. Their new Mini Candied Bacon Cheesecake is incredible! I’ve also tried Banana Cream, White Chocolate Caramel, and Chocolate Rain and all are delicious. The crust has such a unique flavor and texture that makes every bite amazing!

I just love the story of how Cheesecake Funk came to be. For Prince fans, this is a must. I brought a cheesecake (Chocolate Rain) to my coffee group. It was a big hit, the consensus was that it was the best cheesecake they have had.
On a return trip I found out that they also have Ice Cream in bowls – chocolate, salted caramel, strawberry. And Vanessa also made a couple of different pop tarts.

I am not a dessert person and normally 2-3 bites of dessert is enough for me. But the strawberry cheesecake was so good I finished the whole slice! I was in cheesecake heaven.
It was hard to pick which one I wanted because they all looked so good! Would highly recommend.
