What can I say, other than WOW.
The restaurant has approximately 20 or so tables. The service started with fresh and hot bread. One white French style and I believe a raisin loaf. Then our salad course, salad was huge, great flavor and was even give extra blue Chesse crumbles.
Then the Filet. The steak was perfectly cooked. It arrived with a half a head of garlic ( which to date I have never had it served that ) so so good. Potato was crispy on the outside and hot on the inside. I carved it and ate it like potato skins.
Finished the meal with peach cobbler. Best we have ever eaten.
Take aways….. It may seem like a strange place to invest in such a great steak house but well worth the drive. Call ahead for reservations, because with out it you might miss your chance. The food is great, attentive staff, and it’s always full. I highly recommend this place.

OMG!!! Seriously one of the best meals and steaks we have EVER had. My fiancé is a HUGE Ribeye snob (seriously) so when he says “WOW!” After taking a bite, you know it’s amazing. I am not a big red meat consumer, but I had a filet and it was like slicing through butter. The entire meal from the French onion soup to the wedge salad, to the main meal and dessert was all absolutely decadent!!! And service was amazing!

Thank you for affording me the opportunity to review Josiah Steakhouse. My husband and I made reservations at Josiah steakhouse for a 7:00 PM dinner. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a lovely personable hostess that sat us immediately while making certain that our table location was to our satisfaction. Upon being seated, a lovely young man approached the table with fresh water and offered kind conversation. We were then greeted by an equally pleasant server that assisted us to place our order and was able to intelligently answer all of our questions regarding portion sizes and personal favorites, etc. We were then served a delicious array of soft warm fresh breads to hold us over until our appetizers arrived. My husband ordered a Shrimp Cocktail and he described it as “wonderful” and I ordered a Wedge Salad that I found to very fresh with flavorful dressing. For our main entrées, my husband ordered Pork Chops that he found to be fantastic and I ordered the Fillet. I consider myself a bit of a Steak Connoisseur, and the steak at Josiah was right up there with some of the top steakhouses that I have visited,VERY IMPRESSIVE! My husband and I ordered garlic mashed potatoes as a side. The portions were enough to share, and they were wonderful tasting. During our meal, the gentleman that refills, the water kept our tables clean, and water filled. For dessert we ordered the Chocolate Cake and added a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. The cake tasted freshly baked with just the right amount of sweetness without going overboard and the ice cream was thick and creamy. The cake was topped with fresh strawberries that were equally good. The prices of the steakhouse were reasonable and we were able to ask for “ ToGo” boxes to take dinner for the next night. Overall, I would rate our experience at Josiah steakhouse as 5 STAR all around and without hesitation I would recommend a visit. Thank you, Debra A Weisz.

Outstanding food and staff. The prime rib here is the best I have had. Their portions are large. The customer service is top tier. We have been coming once a month for about a year and will keep returning. This is my husband and i’s favorite place for date night. We drive an hour and a half just for the food even when we don’t gamble.

Are watriess Ashlynn was wonderful.
The food was not.
The lobster was way overcooked, making it very chewy. And so was the shrimp for the scampi. The pasta was overcooked, making it mush.
The chicken was dry and tough. The prime rib had more fat than meat. We were really looking forward to a nice meal. We were all very disappointed. The bread was a hit, thou, warm and delicious.
Very small menu.

We were down here at the casino and chose to eat here. My salmon was burnt, the creamed spinach was not seasoned, the chicken was okay, the sauce on the chicken was good. The potatoes with the chicken was good too. The asparagus was good. Some of our food came out cold. I would not recommend. Maybe it was better in the old casino.

The new location at Brighton Bay Casino is great. I have had the best NY Strip ever, twice now.
The Prime Rib is hit or miss.
Service is good. Prices are not bad but reservations are needed. It is a small dining area.

What an amazing place to visit if your at this wonderful casino. Our dinners were absolutely delicious. I had the filet, and it was perfectly cooked, The most tender I’ve ever eaten. The lobster tail was equally delicious. As were all the sides.I can’t say enough about how good the food was. Note to management , you might want to instruct table service not to reach across people when serving them. Also, it is not proper etiquette to scrape plates at the table while your diners are still there.Table servers should wait until either patrons have left, or it should be done in the kitchen. Not in front of dinners.

I am picky. Let’s read that again. I am a fabulous cook and I am picky. Their scallops wrapped in bacon was cooked perfectly— the sauce was devine. I make a Caesar from scratch that is comparable to El Gaucho’s in Tacoma, WA. Theirs. Perfect. My husband and I ordered steaks. He had the Porterhouse, me the 8 oz Filet mignon. My favorite part was when they asked us to cut it open to ensure the temperature cook was proper. It was!! Would definitely go again and we would stay there to enjoy the fun and possible hospitality.
