The food was good although not as spicy for desi foods but it was flavorful. The portion sizes were big enough for two people. I really enjoyed the cultural touch inside the cafe with colorful decorations on the walls!

So glad to have discovered this place in downtown Glens Falls! Great Chai and Tasty chicken bowl. Looking forward to trying many more of their menu items.

While I have mixed feelings about this place (two very different experiences) I did want to applaud them for bringing some delicious variety into the Glens Falls area. Especially delicious were the stuffed dates for holiday!
Unfortunately my second experience wasn’t as exemplary. With a near empty space, it took about 35 minutes for food. Tea was forgotten, but when asked for – was delivered so hot, that it left lasting burns on the mouth, even after sitting for some time.
I would go back and give them another opportunity, as the people and menu are wonderful, but may hesitate to order hot drinks again.

WONDERFUL! We don’t often get to Glens Falls, so this week while looking for a bite to eat my wife & I happened upon Alif Cafe and were intrigued by the menu – how lucky for us! Staff were very friendly and accommodating, but the food is what really shined. We are not unfamiliar with Pakistani cuisine, so we had the Chicken Masala and the Chicken Tikka, both with salad, and we shared a side of garlic naan. The chicken was moist and tender, and both sauces were right on in terms of spice and flavor. The rice was cooked perfectly, and the salads were a real surprise: tender and fresh baby spinach and green lettuce, red onion, and topped with a lovely garlic yogurt dressing. Side salads are often paid little attention in many restaurants, but here they are prepared with as much attention to detail as the main courses. The naan was fresh and doughy but airy inside, with a great char on the exterior. We can only hope the owners open a satellite in our neck of the woods!

We tried the Chicken tikka naanwich, beef kabab naanwich, samosa chat, veggie pakoras, chai and rolled ice cream. Food is delicious, did take some time to prepare but we were not bothered by the wait. We knew the food was being prepared fresh. The naanwiches are not your average naan rolls. Owner is friendly and checked in to ensure all was well.

Great place to visit if you are on a tour to lake George, Saratoga springs, Glen Falls or near by. It is a upscale and hip cafe. They have two branches one in lake George and other in glen falls. Owner is from Peshawar. Food has pure Pakistani taste. Dishes are limited and have new concept. Ambiance is like sweet tooth Lahore if somebody visited it, very hip hop. Customer service is 5 star. They have fresh bakery products as well. Their Baklava rolled ice cream is very famous. Target audience is city crowd mostly Caucasians.

A great cozy place to have food or chai in Glens Falls. They have different varieties of chai. This isn’t the kind of chai you get in Starbucks. It’s authentic and has much less sugar. The Masala Chai is the most traditional and they have maple chai lattes seasonally too.

Lovely ambience, authentic Pakistani flavor presented in a contemporary style. Had a chat with the chef (Joe). His passion was visible in his conversation!!!! We ordered Butter Chicken with traditional naan in sandwich (Nanwich) and Chicken Tikka in Rice. Also Papdi chat was great.

Such a great menu.
The staff is super nice and attentive, and the chef came out to see how we liked everything. I dig that.
Portions were large enough to take some home for a late night snack!
