Shotgun Sue’s is a homey western bar with excellent cocktails and warm environment! Cinthia, Caitlynn, and Kambree do a great job of taking care of their customers. They go above and beyond to make the yummiest cocktails! The best day in my opinion to visit is Tuesday’s for Sue’sday karaoke! The KJ, Vince, is an absolute entertainer. While there’s no food on the site, they have pizza by the slice from their friends at Atomic. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, they welcome outdoor food/delivery orders. Worth a check out of this awesome place! (Kambree and Cinthia pictured)

We are visiting from the Austin area and Shotgun Sue’s came highly recommended from friends and family for the best drinks. I was searching for a great old fashion and my wife loves martinis, well this place did not disappoint. Eric was fantastic! He asked the right questions and recommended a few drinks of their menu, I got their signature old fashion smoked and my wife got their espresso martini, both drinks were incredible! He was quick and very friendly, and we were very impressed by the presentation of the drinks. Mine was smoked in a box, and the whole box came to me. In Austin we probably would have spent 3 times as much and never got the same quality of drinks. We can’t wait to visit Lubbock and come back here again!

Sue’s sets the Bar that other Bars just can’t quite reach, because it’s a Saloon!! If the menu doesn’t impress you… hahaha then Get Out!! Gone Git!!! The Lorenzo!!!! FOGET ABOUT ET!! “Italian Hands” . Key word of advice… enjoy the cocktails, atmosphere and the Drinks. Don’t Look at any of the Beautiful Bartenders in the eyes… I’m speaking from experience, I blew Scout a kiss when he looked at me and asked me… “How is it”!!! I’ve been here 2.785 years coming!! Yes!!

My friends and I came on Tuesday for karaoke night and we had the BEST time!! The drinks were amazing (espresso martini is to die for) and they were on special all night. I absolutely can’t wait to come back. In my opinion, Sue’s is the best cocktail bar in town!

This was an amazing spot. It’s got a nice chill atmosphere and a great old western saloon vibe. You can’t go wrong with any of the drinks from the menu, I had three myself in all of them were top notch. Great service at the bar, welcoming and friendly.

Really cool intimate bar. Great whiskey selections and the owner is behind the bar often with great recommendations and good conversations.

Shotgun Sue’s is a super cool place. I love the vibe, drinks are clever and artisan. I had the old fashioned and Scuzi. Scuzi is their take on a chilton and uses lemoncello instead of squeezes all the lemons which is clever. I expected it to be sweet like lemoncello but it was not. The old fashioned used Buffalo Trace as the well, which impressed me. The bartender and I chatted about our favorite bourbons to sip and she knew her stuff.
The owner was at the end of the bar with some friends. Super cool guy.

Never in my life have I ever believed that paying for the menu cocktails was ever worth it. I’ve always said just give me a scotch or give me some shot.
In my 31 years, this is the first place that I can legitimately say it is worth paying to have the cocktails. We loved the classic country vibe and the old school music was great!

I walked in and the guy just said I cant allow you in here. I pointed at my hat and said is it because of this. Jokingly. It was just a cowboy hat. The barback/bouncer just said “It’s something like that”. I obliged and left with no knowledge of why I couldn’t have stayed. I was meeting a group of friends (20 of them for a Halloween party). Sad to say they had no problem letting in 5 females in before me. SOO there was that. Coincidence? who knows but being told to leave before any kind of explanation. WELL that kind of sucks. 1st time walking in probably will be my last
