My girlfriend, her brother, and I stopped in for lunch at Estelle’s, and we were blown away from start to finish. We all ordered the steak sandwich, and every single one of us agreed—it was the best steak sandwich we’ve had anywhere in Oxford. Perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and just an all-around fantastic dish.
The service was just as memorable as the food. Everyone who worked there was genuinely kind, attentive, and welcoming. You can really tell they care about creating a great experience for their guests. Our server checked on us regularly without ever being overbearing, and the staff as a whole just had a great energy.
The atmosphere in Estelle’s is also top-notch—comfortable, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed lunch. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Oxford, this is a spot you absolutely need to try.

Great experience. Slower night when we were there (thankfully). Service was amazing. Some great kids working front of the house. Food was phenomenal. Shrimp scampi for myself. Filet for the wife. French onion soup special to share. The team there was fantastic. Continuously checked to make sure we didn’t need anything. 100% recommend giving them a try. Clean, friendly,& fantastic limited menu. It was a win.

Had a great experience at Estelle’s in Oxford. I ordered the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly medium with a great sear and a lot of flavor. You can tell the quality of the steak is top-notch. Everything on the plate worked well together without feeling overdone.

I’ve been here multiple times in the last three weeks, and every visit has been consistently great. The staff is always professional, welcoming, and on top of everything. The service feels attentive without being pushy, and the atmosphere makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. Overall, it’s quickly become one of my go-to spots, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

It was the Saturday afternoon after Thanksgiving. We had a party of 6. City Grocery was packed. Good Day Cafe was packed. St Leo was closed. We walked by Estelle and it was completely empty. … like tumbleweeds. We figured we’d give it a try. We soon discovered why it was empty. Literally no one even opened the door for the two hours we were there. We sat down and perused the very limited lunch menu. Not one appetizer in sight. Only one green salad. Just a strange menu. We ordered cocktails. Out of the 4 cocktails ordered, 3 were not drinkable and sent back. They were served with no garnish. No bev nap. A beer was served room temp.
Our water and tea was never refilled. The food took a long time. It was about a 5 out of 10. Service was about the same. Clearly a lack of training. So much potential. Such a lack of execution and attention to detail. The gratuity was added to our check. Fine- but given the number of issues- I think it felt sort of off base. The final straw was a trip to restroom. The wash rooms were unmarked. The one of left had a dead cockroach on floor. The one on right had pubic hairs all over toilet seat. It felt like at any moment, we were going to be told we had been punked. We won’t return. Nor will we recommend. Do yourself a favor and skip this poor representation of a restaurant.

Got there at opening with only a few tables seated. Service was very slow and we ordered two chicken salad sandwiches, a burger and my daughter had yogurt bowl as there were on a few items available between their brunch and lunch menu. Food came and the fries looked like good fries but were so soggy and undercooked, my son’s burger was cooked to an extra well done. When they put the food down, I asked the manager who was assisting if we could get some ketchup and his response was your server will get that for you. Then he proceeded to says to the people at the table that he couldn’t believe we had our phones out in a a “fine dining restaurant”. We were simply looking at photos from the game!! Pass on this place
