I’m not one to write a bad review but what I saw today left me speechless. I walked in with my 9 year old around 4pm. There was a group of 6 seated by the food window, one of the females had a Chipotle uniform on. There were two men behind the window working, one cooking and one making orders. I was second in line and the person before me asked for rice and the person taking the order left to make the rice. The line then got out the door, the female employee eating with her family was clearly the manager (which was later confirmed by the person behind the food station). The manager was yelling across the restaurant to the only employee working, making jokes while the line was growing — while eating with her family. The manager then left the BIGGEST mess ever at the table when she left – food all over the floor and table, left her cup etc. then left for the day with a line out the door and only two people working. My 9 year old noticed her mess (and behavior) without me saying anything and said “mom, I wonder what her house looks like?”
The amount of dust on the gift card rack by the registers was awful. Napkins completely empty. Old food everywhere, used gloves on the floor behind the food station. There was some random machine leaking water by the front door with cardboard laying on it. Windows were caked with dirt. Where’s the pride? How does this pass an inspection and Chipotle’s policies?

Currently on minute 40 of waiting for my mobile order. That’s 40 minutes AFTER the supposed pickup time btw, not from when I ordered it. Usually I’d chock it up to a bad day, but this is the FOURTH time this has happened at this location in the past few weeks.
Also the portion sizes are extremely inconsistent. Sometimes they’re what they should be and other times the item is about half as full as it should be, which is simply unacceptable. It’s a shame because usually the food is pretty good (I say usually because sometimes they definitely gave me the bottom of the barrel food that shoulda been thrown out already) but the service is just so inconsistent.

Food tasted good, consistent with other Chipotle locations.
However, I’d appreciate better hygiene- especially changing sanitary gloves while preparing and serving vegetarian items (my veggie bowl).
Also, the checkout staff could be a bit more welcoming and friendly.

As a vegetarian, chipotle is one of the best and only “fast food” places to go in holland. That being said, I’ve found pieces of meat in my burrito twice now. Customer service doesn’t care, they’ll sometimes throw a free entree at you without any actual concern.
If you have an allergy, cross contamination seems pretty likely here. If they can’t separate plant based meat from dead animal, I’m sure they mix other contaminants too.

I was a bit disappointed this time. My bowl looked almost empty, and when I asked if it was supposed to be like that, they just said yes – even though the other bowl we ordered was much fuller. They were also out of salad, and when I asked if I could get extra of something else, that didn’t really happen. On top of that, they were out of chips. I get that ingredients can run out, but it would feel more fair if portions or pricing were adjusted when that happens. This location has also been very inconsistent.

How the hell is management so incompetent? Two people standing around by the registers while one person makes the burritos. Last I checked if you can’t make burritos quick you probably do not need two cashiers. More people waiting for their food than workers here.
Update, ZERO carbonation for their sodas. How can you own a chipotle location and not even be competent at the basics like gas for your soda and making burritos efficiently?

I had two horrible experiences here. First, I had an order for catering for my son’s wedding rehearsal dinner. They were 30 minutes late! When we arrived to pick it up, they tried to explain that they were real busy, but the point of ordering ahead is so they can prepare. Plus, they didn’t give us everything while some salsas were almost frozen.
I contacted corporate and they only gave me 10% off and two free meals.
A couple weeks later, I decided to use a free meal. When I arrived to pick it up at the time the app said it would be ready, it wasn’t ready. I ended up waiting 30+ minutes for my order. There were others who had been waiting even longer.
Somethings very wrong with this Chipotle. I’m not going back.

Had a terrible experience at Chipotle yesterday. Arrived at 4:30 pm on the dot to order a burrito and dine in, and there were 5 people in front of me. It took me exactly 33 minutes of waiting before I finally got my burrito, and there was so much wrong with the whole situation. For one thing, they had only person serving customers in the store and three people taking care of online orders which there weren’t even that many of, and three people cooking the food in the back. For the most part, the employees serving the online orders were just standing around and talking. You would think with that many people, you could have at least one person supporting the other server who had deal with the long line all by himself. In fact, a lot of customers actually left when they saw how long the wait would be, so good job on losing potential business. Another thing that doesn’t make sense to me is how y’all always seem to be out of one item or another. The girl directly in front of me wanted chicken in her bowl, but was told they were out and that she would have to wait if she 10 minutes if she wanted it. As if 30+ minutes wasn’t already enough. Seriously what were the employees back there prepping the food doing, were they eating it themselves? As for the server who was taking care of the in-store orders, I don’t want to be rude but this guy was very slow and definitely not trained properly. He kept forgetting things I had said 2 seconds earlier, and I had to keep correcting him before he completely botched up my order which was a simple burrito. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to prevent him completely because when it came time to actually wrap the burrito, he completely messed it up and the contents started spilling out and the tortilla got all soggy. What’s worse is that in the middle of the wait, another employee entered the store to start his shift, and this guy had no sense of urgency at all despite the long line that was waiting. He took his time sauntering over to the register, spoke to the servers who were prepping online orders since they were just standing around talking, and then disappeared in the back for 10 minutes before coming back to the front. And you would think he would start helping the guy serving in-store orders, but nope. He positioned himself at the register and just rang people up, doing nothing to alleviate the slowness of service. Overall, this was a terrible, terrible experience with horrendous service resulting in a subpar final product. You guys are supposed to be a fast food place, but with how slow your service has recurringly been, it’s the exact opposite. It doesn’t take rocket science to move even one person around to help speed up service. With how negative the recent reviews have been as well, it’s obvious that this seems to be the norm for this location. I know your reply to this review will most likely be some generic response, and that management will continue to let this sorry state of affairs continue.

I Love Chipotle, but the last two times I have visited Chipotle I have been SO disappointed!
The first time our bowls did not have much in them. They was hardly any meat in them. The staff putting our food together gave my son a hard time when he questioned them about the lack of meat.
Today when I went in they were under staffed with only 2 people working. The person putting my order together looked so upset the whole time. I went down the line telling him what I wanted and he said nothing. When I told him that was it he must of thought I said guacamole and sloped a lot on my bowl. I didn’t say anything to him as he already looked upset that he had to help me. When I asked for a Coke he gave me a Sprite and when I asked him for chips he rolled his eyes at me and threw them in the bag. To end it all when I got my food home the chips I was given were stale chips mixed with fresh ones.
As much as I Love Chipotle I don’t think I will be back for a while. If the service would have been great I could have cared less if they were under staffed.

They keep downgrading the quality of their ingredients within a week and they did it again and they switched the spoons that literally cut your mouth and don’t have Forks in option anymore. Switching to Qdoba. Not to mention it’s getting so expensive. You could go to a nice restaurant for this price.
