Had a great take out teriyaki combo dinner tonight. The tempura was light and a good variety. The beef teriyaki on cabbage was delicious. the miso soup and sushi were especially delicious. I had to save the sunomono salad for tomorrow’s lunch. Wonderful to have a great Japanese restaurant in town.

Nice staff and very well presented and tasty sushi. My partner who doesn’t like fish enjoyed the spicy agedashi tofu very much! It had a different texture than other places we’ve been to. I am a raw fish fan and thoroughly enjoyed their rainbow roll, which was fresh and pleasant to the pallet. Would go again and try something more intriguing like the Toto Tower!

This place is my favourite hidden gem when I’m passing through sunny Tsawwassen . The owner / sushi chef is a literal sushi artist ! She’s always so friendly and remembers my order ! The food is consistently fresh and you need to try the monster bites they are my favourite thing in the world ! Below is the monster bites and the tuna aburi roll they have daily specials as well ! I guarantee you won’t be disappointed in this food ! The restaurant itself is small but it’s a homey feeling

Excellent food! Such attention to detail in presentation too! I had the Twwassen Set ($16.95) which included assorted Sashimi, California rolls, miso soup, ebi sunomono salad, beef teriyaki, rice, and assorted tempura.
Sashimi: fresh, clean, mellow, not fishy at all
Assorted Tempura: very good, crisp, flavorful, and delicious. Nice crunch factor
Beef terriyaki: just like Edo so average but fresh and good
Rice: nicely steamed, above average
Sunomono: tangy, done right
Miso Soup: generic but with added fresh soft tofu

I have never left a bad review before but this experience was honestly shocking. We were excited to get sushi and parked at what we thought was their back parking lot. The back door was wide open, and since plenty of restaurants have back doors connected to parking, we figured it was fine to enter that way. There were no signs saying otherwise.
As soon as we stepped in, the owners were extremely rude and scolded us for coming in through the back, telling us to use the front door instead. When we tried to apologize and explain, they didn’t even want to listen — they just cut us off and told us “bye” to basically kick us out.
To make matters worse, the store showed as open online, but they told us they don’t take dine-in — something we couldn’t have known just by checking Google Maps before going.
We had gone because we saw some good reviews, but honestly I don’t understand how. With this kind of attitude, I’m surprised they even have more than 2 stars. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Very friendly staff. Sushi rolls were excelled. I found the chicken teriyaki a little soggy (I like it when there’s a crunch crust on the outside of the chicken). Over all it was a great experience.

Cozy decorated place. Presentation was lovely. I was craving tonkotsu ramen and they did not disappoint!! The pork was so soft and flavorful and the broth is creamy and subtle. Unagi, tamago and salmon were fresh. The roll was bursting with flavor. Croquettes were perfectly crunchy and crispy too. I definitely want to come back soon. Thanks for the great lunch.

We were in from out of town and craved sushi, and boy did we ever find a hidden gem! Small and quaint, the food, atmosphere, service, and everything else were absolutely top-notch. Very fresh and tasty food at a great value. We will be going out of our way next time we’re in town to come back for another meal. If you want some great sushi, this is the place.
