We enjoyed the salsa, beans, and horchata. The Enchiladas and mole sauce were good but I thought they put too much cheese on everything. Large portions, great service, and a very cute dining room.

The food was good and portion sizes were good as well. I personally didn’t care for the enchilada sauce. I did like the refried beans that were served with the chips. On the other hand, the bowl of chips looked like what you typically get at the bottom of a bag. Broken up small crumbled pieces. Lastly, the service was terrible. Almost non-existent an evening when they were not busy. The waitress was so unfriendly and I only saw her twice. Once when she took our order and the second time 15 minutes after our table was cleared when she finally finally finally brought the check. I think I’ll stick to the other place in town. The twins were extremely helpful and I should have given them my tip.

This was our first time eating at this restaurant. The meal was excellent. Staff were friendly, attentive, but not intrusive. And, the wait time for the food was hardly long at all. We had a combo – shredded chicken enchilada and chalupa; it was served with refried beans and spanish rice. Delicious and not at all expensive. The next time we’re in Molalla, I’m sure we’ll go back!

About the worst Mexican food we’ve had. My wife’s shrimp chimichanga was completely dry, with no sauce, and my Mexican steak had no seasoning.
To make matters worse, someone kept coughing in the back and I ended up getting sick the next day.

The place seems to be well liked by locals. The service snd atmosphere are great. The food was the blandest Mexixan food I think I have ever had. I most likely won’t go back. I would rather have a poor atmosphere and great food.

We went there tonight, giving this restaurant a 3rd try because the first two times the food was pretty bland. No surprise, it still was. But today the food tasted like CHEMICAL CLEANER! We let them know and they remade the portion that was obviously contaminated with chemicals, while still leaving it on the table. I just sat there and looked at it, and thankfully the waitress realized the whole plate needed remade. So there I sit with two plates of food instead of one once everything was remade. End of the meal comes and they still were going to charge us for it! My husband had to ask to be compensated for my meal after the terrible experience. It was never even explained or anything, they just spoke in Spanish instead of being forthright. After my husband asked, we did get compensation for my meal, but only after jumping through a hoop.
Once we got home we realized we left my son’s new Carhartt sweatshirt. My husband returned to the restaurant and asked. They stated they never saw one. My husband goes to our table and looks between the edge of the booth seat and the wall and it had been shoved behind the booth seat and almost under it. Like it was being hidden until someone could take it home… my son certainly didn’t do that. Absolutely baffled by this experience, and most certainly will NEVER be returning. If I could give negative stars, I would.

The food here is pretty darn good. The flan was the best I’ve ever had. Drinks are very strong and delicious. The coffees are hard to find usually, so the fact that they had a selection on their menu meant a lot to me. I actually went 2 days in a row to not feel like a fatty, ordering everything I wanted in one visit. The chips, beans, and salsa off the bat is always a nice welcome. Highly recommend it. The Cadillac margaritas are .

I’ve been eating at this family-owned restaurant since I was a kid. The service is consistent, the food is great and the portions are good. Their menu is a bit large and can be overwhelming, but that’s just an opinion, not a complaint.

This is a real treat of a restaurant out here in Molalla. I would have to say this is one of the better Mexican restaurants I’ve had the privilege of experiencing.

Highlights: All the meals were great, but it really does depend on what you order. They include beans with the chips and salsa, which I have to say, the beans were really good.

I’d also have to say that their flan was absolutely fantastic. A little wet, but awesome flavor.

The only negative; who ever the woman was that took our order, I was NOT impressed. She needs to give people a chance to finish their order before moving on and she needs to get the orders correct. The guys were all right there to help and fix the problems.

Overall, it’s worth the drive (I came from Tualatin) to have some awesome food.

The waitresses are rude, the food is terrible, and the restrooms are way too dim. I can’t believe this place has a 4.4 stars. As a Mexican, who grew up with Mexican food, this place doesn’t represent authentic cuisine. Made a stop here to kill time and ordered an appetizer, how can they screw up carne asada NACHOS!?! Oh yeah, by providing old dry meat.
