In our open kitchen, we focus on beautiful local ingredients and simple, time-tested cooking. Enjoy pizzas, antipasti, daily specials and excellent service in a family-friendly atmosphere. Overall, my experience at One Speed was great. This was my third or fourth time visiting, which I felt gave me the experience needed to write a proper review.
For this meal, we ordered a side of olives, a side of fries with aioli, and of course, a pizza. I chose the “Rick’s Pizza.” I wasn’t the biggest fan of this one, as the combination of the olives and goat cheese made it a bit too tangy or tart for my taste. However, I did really like the crispy potatoes on it. The french fries were very good and had a nice salty flavor, which I consider a plus, and the side of aioli was great for dipping.
I’d rate their pizzas overall about an 8.5 out of 10. While I didn’t love the pizza I ordered this time, the crust was excellent, and I’ve had their other pizzas before which were delicious. So, although I might not recommend the Rick’s Pizza specifically, I do think their menu is very high quality.
I also can’t end the review without shouting out the staff. I always have a great time when I’m there and the people are always really nice. top tier ambiance

I know this is primarily a pizza and pasta place, but the herb fries were actually the best fries I have had in a while. They were thin cut and crispy and just delicious! We also ordered the margherita pizza and devoured all of it. It was my first visit and they were quite busy, but service was excellent nonetheless. We’ll be back for more.

This place is an institution. The pizza always hits but don’t miss the salads and specials. Frito Misto is a must and the house white wine is unbelievable value.

Great beer selection, friendly staff and some quality Pizza/Calzones. I got the All Meat Calzone, and if I had any complaints about it, it would be that there was too much meat. But that’s a ridiculous complaint! It was amazing. My wife got the Pepperoni pizza and she enjoyed it enough to reheat the remainder for dinner the next day. My daughter got the Spaghetti & meatballs. She ate them all and she’s only 9, so that seems like a positive. I also got a s’mores like dessert that was really tasty.

So many amazing sounding dishes to choose from. The pizza toppings are very fresh, and combinations very inspired; you get bursts of freshness from every pepper, onion, and herb. Great sauce and crust.
If you’re in the mood for something a little more nuanced and refined, this is the place. They excel in creativity and execution, serving up well thought out dishes that make you want to come back.

While I don’t frequent this fine establishment as often as some of East Sac’s other eateries, I do appreciate the quality of food here. I particularly enjoy the calzone. Great tastes but higher prices than other local spots.

I ordered the chopped salad, which was tossed in a house dressing. My favorite bites had a little of everything in them, which speaks to the ingredient pairing. The bacon was thick and perfectly crisp and such a treat in the salad! The dressing was light and I wanted to lick the plate at the end. I also had the sautéed greens and broccoli rabe. I loved the spice of the chili flakes and how crisp the kale was compared to the softness of the broccoli. Very fresh and satisfying. For dessert I had the citrus olive oil cake. This is a unique item and you have to like olive oil to appreciate it, but the citrus was such a great flavor and it was moist and a real treat! I’ve had the pizza in the past and always enjoyed the food here!
