1st time customer at this restaurant. Friendly service and clean environment.
Purchased the smothered turkey wing with rice. Chose cabbage as my side and cornbread for my bread option.
The turkey wing was very tender, and the cabbage flavorful. I found both choices to be more salty than I would have desired.

12/08/2025 I ordered via Door Dash from the S Miami Blvd location and this is what I received. I was refunded by Door Dash. Luckily, I’ve always been finicky about meat, so I pick mine apart and examine it before consumption. THIS is what was found in my fish. Those are BUGS. I’m not sure what type, but I know exactly what a bug looks like. I called both restaurants, the one on Fayetteville apologized. But this location has YET to call me, apologize or ensure that they have checked their fish/fixed the issue. It could be the fish, the batter or the fryers. This is honestly despicable and disgusting— horrible way to operate a business. I also want to add, I’ve never had issues with the Fayetteville location, but at this point, you can never be too sure. Please save your money, your time and your health.

I decided to try this location after driving by then seeing their reviews. I decided to try their Tuesday Special of turkey wings. I opt for macaroni and cheese, turkey collards and added yam souffle. EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, SEASONED, HOT and worth every penny. I will definitely be back to try their other selections.

I placed an order on Wednesday and once getting back to work, my order was incorrect. I called and was told to come back and they will correct the order. I called my order in on Thursday and the wings was replaced with the correct ones. Awesome customer service and the food was good. Wings, greens and macaroni and cheese.

I took my mother here for her birthday she wanted to try a place she never been before. She absolutely loved it. Food was wonderful needs more drink selections but other than that. Service was wonderful from the cashier I didn’t get the name. Thanks again for the great food and the southern hospitality.

Picked up wings and fries okra for lunch. The Hot Honey Lemon Pepper sauce is delicious. I was highly disappointed that the wings were dumped over my fried okra. So I couldn’t eat it because it was all soggy and coated in sauce. Also, I ordered 6 wings and I got not one flat in my order. All were drums.

An enjoyable expeience to be had by all. And by “all”, I mean just me. But seriously, really good food – a culinary delight! I had the flounder and my side was the rice with gravy. Next time I want to try the chicken and dumplings + mac & cheese. The entree is priced on the low-ish side at ~$9 (good!) but they get you with the side (~ $4). With a drink then you’re probably looking at spending ~$15 per person.
