My issue here was price. Just too high. I don’t blame the restaurant, they are properly priced for the crowd they are looking to attract but the menu is similar to a “Graze” in the Five Towns, minus the steak. The pizza and nachos were excellent and the steak was prepared well and served nicely. Total bill including tip was $200+ and it felt more like a $125 meal. We ordered the nachos, pizza and one steak. Two soft drinks. $200? More of an industry challenge? Not sure. I would certainly recommend. Shul nearby made a meaningful Ma’ariv a nice bonus.

I want to start off by mentioning our server Elisheva was AMAZING. She gave us some great advice ordering and we had a spectacular meal. I brought a friend who was in town from Teaneck, NJ. and he couldn’t stop raving. We stated off with the “Adar special” Smokey Pulled Hamentashen with both smoke pulled beef and smoked pulled chicken. They were mouthwatering and scrumptious. The crust surprising wasn’t flaky or crunchy but chewy and went great with the texture of the Beef. Our second “shared” appetizer was the Loaded ‘Merica Fried which is house cut fries topped with pulled brisket, facon and Smokey Hill secret sauce. My friend Johnny was ecstatic, they were soooooo delirious. We were getting worried about having room for our mains. As much as we wanted to try the sliders and met pizza we didn’t want to fill ourselves up with carbs.
For our mains we each got a cowboy steak. Mine was the Texan cowboy grilled to perfection served with my choice of sides. My buddy went big for the Pitmasters Cowboy Steak which is the same cut but its low and slow smoked and finished with a sear served with grilled veggies and his choice o sides. Both steaks were perfect temperature, melt in your mouth good. We are taking about a good 28-32 oz steak (see pictures attached) without being Manhattan prices. The service was amazing, the food was even better and the conversation and friendship made it a perfect night. I love the fact that the owner and pitmaster Hillel comes out to ask about your meal and just talk to the customers. We ended up talking for close to 20 min and then he gave us a mini tour of the smoker out back which can fit up to 15-20 briskets at once.
At Elisheva’s direction, we ended up sharing the Babka desert which came with some ice cream and was ouey gooey good.
Five thumbs up!

Came here for my anniversary and I couldn’t have been happier with the food and service. Smokey Hill has a great ambiance and I love the music playing. The food was amazing and perfectly smoked. As a fan of anything smoked and an amateur smoker, I definitely need to visit again to try more of the menu!

Really good food and even greater service! Mekhri gave us excellent service and was always on hand to get us whatever we needed. Really enjoyed the vibe! They were giving out free desert and wine for their anniversary! Really enjoyed and am definitely going to return!

overall ambiance was very nice service was fantastic.
App: Fries – these were fantastic! everyone should order this they came out amazing, the meat was great and overall very good.
Brisket – this needed to be cooked at a higher temp and needed to be a little more cleaned. the fat cap didn’t fully melt down into the brisket during the cooking, and as you can see from the image there is still some fat on the top.
Dino rib Flanken – again this needed to be cooked a little better. the meat was very good and tender but it was cooked to the point that you can take the bone out.
Steak – the inside was cooked to perfection! perfect medium rare i couldn’t have asked for it better. the Spices were not so great, it tasted as if the spices were put onto the steak after it was cooked so they were still very powerful and ontop of the steak instead of cooked into it.
