I have been going to Las Fuentes for several years, always only gotten the Sam thing-Chicken Flautas! So disappointing! They didn’t give the guac that comes with the order and I asked for more cheese as I ALWAYS have a this looks like the normal order amount that’s given. I’d rather go through dealing with more traffic, difficulty finding a parking spot and the long crowd of people at the Reseda location.

Very disappointing this is the second time. I’ve tried it and I won’t go back. Last time I got the chicken tostada this time the Carne Asada burrito always love Melodys in Reseda. This doesn’t match it even in the slightest I won’t go back. Portions are smaller food taste basic definitely not worth it.

I just started noticing that the food is a problem. The chips started tasting like a cleaning agent. The food quality has gone from great to what did i just eat and why does it taste like floor cleaner. Twice in 30 years has the food been bad. Once with the chili relleno and now with the chips and the beans. The picture of my food below is what i expect every time. Not watery beans and chips that taste like bug spray and make me itchy and paranoid.

This place was ok….I am a huge fan of the original Las Fuentes, the second location didn’t do it justice. The food was just ok. I got the Enchiladas Rancheros, 1 beef and 1 chicken. The beef had great flavor but was also a little tough. The chicken had no flavor and was pretty dry. The salsas for the chips were all pretty good, my favorite being the green one. I will be sticking with the original location though

I stopped by this Las Fuentes location because I was across the street getting a burger. My wife loves this restrauant especially their torta so I was going to get it for her. I found parking just fine but the plaza does get busy with all the other shops around. When I walked inside this place, there were some guest dining in. I went to line up and someone was ready for me to place my order. I totally blank out and ordered the tostada instead for my wife with carne asada. The lady didn’t know how to put it in correctly so another worker came to help her. I thought it was pretty pricey for just a tostada but oh well. They have a salad bar here where you get your own sauce and toppings. When I was getting the sauce for my wife, another guest came back to return his food since they made it wrong. It took a while for them to make my order, so I just waited in the pickup area. There an outdoor seating area for this restrauant as well. It took over 10 minutes for my number to be called and I took it home. My wife thought the tostada was okay but will still prefer her torta instead.

The vibe is not like the original one but they brought in elements to still give the Las Fuentes we know. And, the food is still good. And considering how they opened recently, my family and I enjoyed our visit here today. There also was a server/cashier who helped us and paid a lot of attention to the cleanliness and service to the people around us (I noticed coz the guy was a little loud and kept asking her). They probably still need a few weeks to hone in training of other staff, and cooking and serving to keep up with demand, but that all comes with opening a new restaurant. Overall, we enjodyed the food and the look of the new store. Will come back!

This is my favorite place for crunchy chicken tacos. They don’t skimp on the chicken or the toppings and they’re bigger than other places. My other favorites here are the salpicon tostada and when it’s cold out, the consomé de pollo. On top of that, the service is always friendly and if you’re feeling like a beer, they’re always ice cold.

Have frequented the Reseda location as well as their sister locations Senior Sol and Sol Y Luna since I can remember. This location actually really disappointed me as the portions were so tiny for how expensive it was. I only got one item the cheese enchilada plate which personally I feel quite simple and cant mess up. First thing is you have to pay extra for some chips which I thought was interesting considering at the other locations it comes with the meals so that was already strike one. Secondly I did take out so obviously portions will not be the same as in the establishment but the portions were so tiny I have small hands and the rice portion was smaller than the palm of my hand I have included images of what those looked like. Also the tortilla was super hard in the enchilada which is super odd and the rice was also incredibly hard. Overall I like the other locations but it is a bummer that this location really does not compare even the slightest bit to the other locations because of how bad the food was. Personally do not think I would return to that location in the future based on my review. Thanks.
PS: I did consider that maybe due to it being takeout and taking it home it would affect the result however, when I would frequent the Reseda location, which was 5 miles further than this chatsworth location, the food was still piping hot and consistent with their brand while the chatsworth location which is about 2 miles from me was cold and hard and small in portion size. I think a lot can be worked on to achieve the same quality which is really lacking at this location.

Not worth $35 for a bowl, drink, and chips… Because it didn’t taste good. Otherwise it’s a nice restaurant with good service. Everything was clean and big portions. The Margaritas could use more alcohol too.

Would have rated everything lower if the review was based solely on this visit. Have been to this restaurant many times and my experience is usually very good. Not today, I ordered huevos rancheros, over easy medium sauce, flour tortillas. Got hard boiled eggs, hot sauce, corn tortillas. Also ordered two Quesadillas, one beef , one chicken. Both had brown guacamole. This has nothing to do with the server, the receipt is correct. This is on the kitchen.
