What an impressive & delicious experience!! We chose Joe’s La Roma for a special birthday celebration and it did not disappoint! From the initial greeting to the prompt and attentive table service, our first impression was a great one. And then the food … WOW!
This was our first time at Joe’s – and it won’t be our last!! From the homemade pesto salad dressing, stuffed cheesy bread, white clam sauce, scampi, to the complimentary birthday cannoli, sea bass and ambience…. 5 stars for sure!!!

Wow! From the moment we arrived, the smell of the food cooking hit your nose as soon as we grabbed the door handle. Service was outstanding!!! We met Chris at the front door around 6:30 on a busy Saturday night. Since it was our first time dining there, we didn’t know reservation was recommended. Chris kindly explained that they were very busy but took my number and suggested we grab an appetizer next door while we waited. Within 15 minutes, he called to let us know a table was ready by 7:15 the latest 7:30 as our table were finishing their entrees. Very friendly and accommodating!
Our server, Debbie, was wonderful and very accommodating also, and Chris stayed busy clearing tables and helping guests. The service was a perfect 10/10, and the food was just as amazing—also a 10/10! We were so full we had to take our entrées home, but later that night I tried my salmon piccata, and it was absolutely delicious—a unique twist on the traditional chicken piccata.
We’ll definitely be back, and I can’t wait to bring my parents next time! 3 stars for the atmosphere only because I wish it was a bigger place and our table was tight with limited space for 2 with what was ordered.
You can tell that this place is a hidden gem and locals frequent!❤️ Salmon piccata, shrimp scampi, mozzarella sticks with the Italian flag sauce, house salad, added with crispy pancetta, blue cheese crumble and creamy pesto vinaigrette! FYI I would do without the pancetta next time as it was a tad bit salty.

We went for Valentine’s Day dinner. As soon as I walked in, the atmosphere had such a vibe. I was instantly comfortable, it smelled amazing. We were seated right away .Such an Italian feel with the seating arrangement. Wait staff was incredible. Host was ever gracious. The food did all the talking the restaurant needed it too. We got lobster and steak for Valentine’s Day, and it melted in your mouth. Potatoes were cooked to savory perfection. There were a variety of things on the menu that varied in price from $14 to 50. The cocktails were right around 12 bucks , and were generously made . I plan to go back on the regular. I highly recommend this restaurant for casual dining or even some of the specialist of occasions. Just what Salisbury needed.!!

We finally got the chance to try this place for dinner and it was absolutely awesome!
We started with a crisp salad and stuffed cheese bread, then moved onto our incredible mains—my Chicken Parm, and his perfectly cooked Steak and Shrimp with savory vegetables! Last was the raspberry cheesecake that I had paired with a delicious moscato… oh my gosh, it was heaven! Naturally, a batch of cannolis had to come home with us. Cheers to making memories, and enjoying every delicious bite with my love! We can’t wait to go back again!
PS: We had a waitress by the name of Natalie, she was PHENOMENAL- to say the least

Oh, where to start. We were greeted warmly, like family and service only got better from there. Our courses were served timely, on our pace, and not rushed. The pesto salad dressing is made in-house and the love and care shows. Entrees of Mahi-Mahi over wide pasta and a portobello ravioli with sweet Italian sausage. Amazing! La Roma’s is on our ‘must do’ for visitors and we’ll be back for more.
Reservations are recommended.

I heard good things and I will say that we aren’t overly picky people but imo the food was just ok. We got Eggplant parm and Chicken Parm – I have had way better CP in other places. We got the Sicilian pizza and it was 4 slices which was far less than 12″ would indicate. Salads were good if a bit small – house pesto dressing is strong. Tiramisu was again, good, but not fantastic. The place is SMALL and the parking is abysmal. Since they are only open four days from 4-11, I would recommend seeing if they take reservations or plan for take away. We have a person with dietary issues meaning 2PM is the cut off for big meals, so based on the hours, this will not be a place that we can frequent.

Hands down, favorite date night spot! Even got to have the “Mamma Mia Monday Dish is Chef Joe Bellia’s Seafood salad,” so yummy!! The best Italian restaurant on the shore!

Joe’s La Roma is a must-visit restaurant when in Salisbury, MD! From the moment you walk in and are greeted by Chris, an amazing host and co-owner, you know you’re in a special place. The aromas, the murals, and the hospitality prepare you for an amazing evening! Adrienne was our incredible server and her description and knowledge of the menu and specials was outstanding! The portions were abundant and indescribably delicious. Our table enjoyed the the baked ziti, the manicotti, the seafood marinara, and the petite filet special! Simply amazing food! Paired it with a nice Chianti and finished with some cannolis , gelato and espressos. We can’t wait to go back to try other dishes on the menu!! I suggest making a reservation In order to get seated on a Friday or Saturday! You won’t regret it!

My friend chose this restaurant to celebrate her birthday, and we were both unsatisfied with our experience. We barely ate any of our food and it was taken away to be boxed up. When the waitress returned with our food, she placed each bag in front of us but had given us the wrong food and threw out one of our items. The restaurant was contacted and proceeded to say that we should have checked our own bags and that a gift card would be left. I was given a very fake greeting as they already assumed who I was and when I asked what was on the card. I was told that it was $10 and that’s what they were told to put on it. After speaking to another manager and being told that the staff lied about not knowing that the food was misplaced I was offered free appetizers and a discount on food. I only asked for the bread to resolve the issue, and when I picked it up it was burnt at the bottom and barely had cheese! I reached out to the manager to let him know what happened and he asked me what did I want him to do because he was afraid something else would be wrong. I was offered a refund and was giving half of what I paid. This was not how I planned to celebrate my friends birthday and we will not go where we don’t genuinely feel welcomed!
