We are local to the neighborhood and this was one of our go to spots. I don’t know if ownership or chef has changed but since the menu changed things have not been the same. Wait time on food is super excessive especially for the simply menu items being offered now. The quality is also not great. Waited over 30 mins for a simple traditional breakfast with the French toast upgrade. Was told the turkey bacon is cooked “crunchy” you be the judge. Super disappointed with our experience this morning.

We ordered a to go salad and two coffees. The salad was HORRIBLE. The avocado and lettuce smelled and looked old. It was an overpriced expired salad ($12, no protein). The coffee was not too bad but also over priced. You’re better off driving a few streets down to the next coffee shop. This is by far the worst place in third ward.

My friend and I checked out The Rado Mkt for the first time today. The young ladies working behind the counter was helpful, and I can tell that they love their job, which is a plus! Quality customer service is vital in the restaurant industry. I ordered the Rado Hash, and she ordered the veggie skillet and added eggs and turkey bacon. The food was delicious, but my Rado hash was a small portion. In addition, they have juices, body butters, and other products for sale by small minority owned businesses. I definitely plan on returning to work and drink a coffee.

Vibe- The atmosphere was very welcoming and chill. There was great music playing and just good vibes and energy all around! What’s amazing is that there are plenty of products by black businesses inside and there’s also a spot where they have plenty of black owned wines to purchase.
Customer service- Great! I had plenty of questions since it was my first time here and the woman at the counter was very helpful.
Food/drinks- I got the pound cake waffle and paradise coffee drink (matcha,vanilla, lavender) and they were both delicious.
Parking- There’s plenty of parking spots in the lot right next to the building.

We got the oxtail smash burger and the turkey melt with greens and mac and cheese as the sides. The burger was super tasty, very balanced with tomatoes and pickles, the Mac was also great. I really enjoyed the turkey melt but I felt it needed an acidic component to balance out the savory Smokey turkey and cheese. I felt like a pickle and less chips would have made it perfect. I would definitely come back!

The Rado Market is one of my favorite spots in Houston. Their iced lattes hit the spot during summer, especially after tennis. It’s also a perfect lunch spot , great food, generous portions, and a chill vibe. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for coffee, this place never disappoints. The owner is amazing and makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

We came here twice during our trip, and the first time blew us away. The kale, the chicken, so juicy and crunchy. The bathroom is clean and spacious. The service was friendly. The mac and cheese and jerk chicken salad sandwich pairing was top tier.
The fruit salad(strawberry and blueberry) was fresh and sweet tasting organic.
The peach mimosa was delicious and so were the french fries. Only thing was the salt on the second day was so heavy it felt too much on the fried chicken. The shrimp étouffée was small portioned but had good flavor w a few rice.
