I had the rice dish, which was absolutely delicious. My wife tried Ashak (similar to mantı), and she really enjoyed it. Our son had the Afghan burger, and our daughter tried both the Afghan burger and the mantı — everything tasted amazing. The green tea was also excellent.
The food was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. It’s a clean, halal, and family-friendly place. We truly hope this business continues to grow, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Afghan food.
Maschall’s Kitchen is one of those hidden gems that proves you don’t need fancy décor to serve truly memorable food. This simple, family-owned Afghan restaurant may not dazzle with ambiance, but the warmth of their cooking more than makes up for it. Every dish feels like it came straight from someone’s home kitchen — hearty, flavorful, and made with care.
The menu highlights traditional Afghan flavors prepared with authenticity and patience. From tender meats and aromatic rice to perfectly balanced spices, every bite carries a sense of comfort and heritage. One standout is their Tea Pot Stew, a signature dish that’s slow-cooked for 4–5 hours to achieve melt-in-your-mouth perfection. It’s available only by pre-order, ensuring it’s prepared just for you — and it’s absolutely worth the wait.
Maschall’s Kitchen may be humble in appearance, but what they serve is rich in heart, flavor, and tradition. A true taste of home in every plate
You MUST try their meatballs.
This was our first time eating here and our first time trying Afghan food so we wanted to order a variety of dishes. I spoke with the owner and let him know I’m vegetarian, and he was incredibly helpful in guiding me through what I could eat.
We ordered rice, eggplant, hummus, bolani (stuffed bread), vegetable dumplings, baklava, and a gyro with fries. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and we genuinely loved everything we tried. We can’t wait to come back.
The owner also mentioned that they’ll be offering a Ramadan buffet for $25.
Not only is the food amazing, but you also get a warm and welcoming experience with the owner Sayed. We are sure to come back and try the weekend buffet.
