The eggs tasted hard and old — I took one bite and couldn’t eat them.
The only positives were the mussels, shrimp, and the sauce, which were good. However, overall the experience did not match the price point, and I won’t be returning.
It’s pretty good! Our waitress Sara was very friendly and knowledgeable of their offerings. We liked everything she recommended to us.
We had the Shack-olada in strawberry and orange. I had the orange, it reminded me of an Orange Julius. I loved it. A bit expensive for a mocktail however.
The fried pickles are amazing, the pickle to batter ratio is just right. The Cajun fries are to die for, especially with their ranch, which is amazing.
We had the lobster roll as a main course. Nice buttery bread, generous lobster portion, and warm butter. Great value for what it was.
We also ordered the scallop bowl. I got Mild but still got a mighty kick of cayenne. It was too much for me, but I have zero spice tolerance. The scallops were nice and soft and the noodles were bouncy.
We had the cornbread and ice cream dessert. I like it. However I think the ratio of ice cream to everything else is off. It would do with a single scoop of ice cream.
The one gripe with the food I had is that the corn cobs had a few brown spots. They’re probably fine, but not everyone loves cosmetic flaws on their produce.
The decor is fine. There is nothing wildly offensive or anything about this place. Even the other staff that weren’t assigned to us were very friendly and polite.
Overall, would return for some pickles and fries with lobster rolls as a main.
Just what our slice of the Beach Oasis needed!! Yes we’re all beach baby just add or bring your own water.
Our hostess Natalie suggested the Jambalaya I’m on the conservative side. It was amazing I’ll try the gumbo next time around.
The manager and whole staff are awesome!! Friendly welcoming and attentive.
They make a mean Arnold Palmer.
The Dos Xx was served in a chilled pint glass. Attention to detail. Makes a difference the boil bag was amazing even with no spice it had a kick. Soo good. We tried the trifecta sauce. (Near Zero tolerance for spicy here.)
We’ll be back until we’ve tried everything on the menu. It was well worth the Trek across the mountain from the far east side of El Paso. Great job Sabrina welcome to El Paso and thank you so much for this little gem! You and your staff are absolutely amazing!!
