This was my first time at Sushi n Gone, even though I drive past it all the time. The inside was spacious, bright, and very welcoming — it felt like the kind of place that works just as well for a quick solo bite as it does for a relaxed meal with friends. We ordered a few items, but the jalapeño poppers and the Samurai roll were absolutely out of this world. For two people, the total was about $65, which seemed reasonable for the quality and portions. I’ll definitely be back.

As soon as you walk in the staff greet you and are very welcoming. They have such a big menu and so many options to choose from. My husband and I ended up trying the Yakimeshi Special and Nabeyaki Udon. Highly recommend! Both are very delicious with great flavor. We will definitely be coming back to try other menu options.

Sorry for the food plate not looking great, but I couldn’t stop eating this delicious pork belly Ramen. Got home after working all day and the wife picked up Ramen and sushi for dinner. It absolutely hit the spot. So delicious!!! Will recommend to all my employees and friends.

National City & the South Bay area are quickly becoming a foodie paradise. This place is new to me but I really liked their menu options. We had a unique Sushi n Gone roll, some delicious soup & a nice side salad. Come early because parking is limited during peak hours. Family friendly tho they do serve beer. Great staff.

Service was very good and quick. The place from the outside looks a bit sketchy, but walking in, the place looks clean and they had cute/fun stuff on the walls to look at. The shrimp tempura was very good, definitely would go back just for that. I’m not a fan of trying new sushi but I’m glad I did.

All I can say is go there! Went this past Monday as soon as they opened at 12pm. The young lady who greeted us and was our waitress for lunch went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasant one! The food was amazing. Great presentation. The atmosphere was peaceful. Very clean restaurant. Entertainment from the music to the TV’s made our dining there a comfortable one. Thank you all for your service.

At first glance, this establishment didn’t look like much because of the outside appearance and small parking lot, to the point we almost decided to go elsewhere. However, I’m glad we didn’t. The inside is very inviting and comfortable, you are immediately greeted with a smile and seated. The prices are very good base on the amount of food you get. We had thought the rolls would be small like the average rolls you get in Connecticut but we were surprised to see rolls measuring at least a foot (9-10) pieces. They are very well ade with a great presentation and are full of flavors. Even the salads are fresh and delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Want to try the sushi and burritos next , they looked amazing when being brought to another table.
Only downside is there’s not a lot of parking , we were the only 3 people there until another group came in after but the parking lot was full.

Ok, so hear me out on this. Paolo is into to something here. Wow! I am a sushi snob and would never have thought that Mexican and Sushi fusion would work. Boy was I wrong. This was some of the best sushi I have ever had outside traditional Japanese sushi. The facade and interior has a little left to be desired. I almost didn’t enter as I was clutching my pearls concerned for the safety and security at this location. They need to clean up the former 7-11 facade and make their interior a little more cozy. The place is obviously short staffed and a start up. I want to see them succeed, though! With some attention to interior decorating they could really have an all round 5 star joint here. Also for the price this value is great!
