Mon Càve is owned by the same owners as Le Bouillon and there were a few people seated downstairs having drinks before being taken to their reservation at Le Bouillon.
We stopped into the cave after dinner at Le Bouillon and were really impressed with the vibes and the bartender’s familiarity with the products.
The entrance/bar area has a neo-Western traditional feel (maybe like a Star Wars cantina vibe) and the back room has a Swiss/German/Austrian ski chalet vibe (see pic).
We were told that Le Bouillon’s drink menu is a little more “polished” or “refined” for the restaurant and Mon Càve gets to be a little more experimental with their offerings.
The Slovenian rosé I ordered was fantastic and dry. My partner has a nootropic Dram non-alcoholic drink that was really good.

I rented out Mon Càve wine bar for a wedding reception and it was a great experience. Le Bouillon catered the hors d’oeuvres for the party. The food was a hit with all of our guests and the set up was professional and elegant. I highly recommend if you’re looking for an intimate and relaxed environment.

This is an amazing place for a small meet up. Very tiny & cozy, there is *very* limited seating and music is kept to a bare minimum. Hours are also *very* limited, so if you’re looking for a “close the bar night”, this is limited to a starting point.
As it is primarily a wine bar, the drink selection is kept to a minimum. Wines are rotated relatively regularly (ie, weekly to monthly). Liquors are rotated similarly, but well drinks are always available at a pre-measured pour.
Due to the layout, all service is limited to bar service. That said, the (typically lone) bartender is knowledgeable in the wine selection available.
