This place started out really good several months ago…and then a few days ago I get a burrito fajita with pot roast vegetables in it! There were no beans in the burrito fajita either.
I went in there and it was terrible. I had to ask for my waiter twice. I ordered a burrito fajita and as I’m eating it, I noticed there is potatoes, peas, green beans, and corn in it WHAT THE HECK?!?? Is this a pot roast or a burrito? That is not the vegetables that’s described as being in this burrito and it seems like they ran out of ingredients and just started putting whatever they had in the kitchen in my burrito. The steak was really fatty and somebody in the kitchen dumped a ton of hot sauce on it, which shouldn’t even be on there to begin with.
I could not get out of there quick enough!
So disappointed this place has gone downhill so quickly! Their prices are way too high for this subpar food!

This is a fantastic restaurant. Our server was great. She was attentive but not hovering. The food was amazing, big portions, very well seasoned, and reasonably priced. Beer selection was great with good selection between bottle and draft. We’ll have to go back again to try the margaritas. We had the fajitas and tableside guacamole which were tremendous.

An unexpected Jewel! I got the fajita burrito. And enchiladas. We also had the chocolate flan for dessert. And horchata drink.
The beef in the fajita wasn’t quite when I usually use i.e. flank steak. But, it was still very good.
The server was very nice. And we were seated quite quickly.
It sounds like there is a mariachi band that plays on the stage. Call for entertainment events. Definitely a lot of potential for this location! Nice clean open well lit venue.

El Maya was a great experience. The food was good. The shrimp was a little heavy on the garlic, but it was cooked perfectly. Their rice was unlike any Spanish/Mexican rice I’ve ever had, but that’s not a bad thing. It was full of flavor. Service is where this place stood out to me. Our server was super sweet and fast. I’d definitely go back.

We went on Cinco de mayo and it was busy, but they seated us right away and immediately brought us chips and salsa. They had live music playing and decorated up with cinco de mayo balloons! We started with table side Guacamole and Margarita’s and it was all delicious! Food was great and nice sized portions. Service was good, ecspecially considering how busy they were!

Outstanding Mexican food. Honestly the best I have found in the area. The table side, home made guacamole is outstanding. Service is excellent without being intrusive. Atmosphere is warm and relaxed. We were there for lunch so it wasn’t crowded but I can imagine it can get very busy. It’s a large restaurant that manages to keep a warm comfortable feel to it with natural wood and gas fireplaces. They even have cloth napkins which is a nice touch.
Priced are reasonable given today’s market. Main courses run around $15 give or take. Plan on taking home leftovers.
Just a note: if your concerned about a restaurant that has a bar being family friendly, don’t worry. They have 2 seperate dining rooms so it’s very family friendly and the bar are is beautiful with color back-lit bottles and a big open space. Definitely wouldn’t have a second thought taking my kids there.

Hungry guy in the highway found a cute little town and gem of a restaurant with great hosts friendly everyone and lip packing food. The carnitas was perfectly cooked melted in the mouth. Had a kings meal!!
