First time here Friday afternoon. Working a long shift far from home. Being half Jamaican I wanted real food not gas station food so I came here. I ordered curry chicken, white rice, Mac and cheese with stew chicken, white rice, candied yams and 2 drinks. Young lady at the register is very pretty and very friendly. Great customer service. Quick service. Great portions.Food was delicious. Full of flavor. I love mac and cheese. They don’t all taste the same but this was really cheesy and flavorful. I survived my 16 hour shift. Someday I will come back to try other things.

I was very skeptical because I am from Philly and it’s some good Jamaican food in Philly. But this place got it going on. The service was good. The pricing was fair. Not over priced. The jerk chicken was flavorful and moist. Not a dry piece in site. The curry goat was flavorful and tender. The gravy was on point. I asked for extra gravy and the rice soaked it up perfectly. The rice didn’t dry it out. I had better cabbage but it was good. I will definitely come back. I am very satisfied.

We ordered the Oxtail platter and it was delicious! So tender. And the Beef Patties get a star as well!

Tried this Jamaican spot last Thursday and grabbed a beef patty. Man, that joint came out flatter than a Krabby Patty. The outside wasn’t even baked right — only the edges had a little crust, the rest was soft and moist like it skipped the oven and went straight to the warmer.
I asked the young lady at the front what happened, and she said it just wasn’t under the lamp long enough. Huh? So does the lamp finish cooking it or something? I’m confused. The meat inside seemed cooked, but the crust had zero flake, zero crunch.
I literally ripped the patty open in front of her like, “What is this?” But I was starving, so I ate it anyway. Truth be told, I tore it up — but honestly, my conventional oven at home could’ve done way better. The pictures of the other beef patties posted is what I was looking forward to! Just don’t serve it if it’s not ready or whatever the deal was!

Omg I loved this food. My local Jamaican store was out of goat and oxtail and I really wanted some so I decided to search for another store in the area and found this. Both dishes were so delicious. I’ll be back there for sure.

Just go somewhere else. Bland dry rice and peace, Mac and cheese is not good. Im sorry I really wanted to love it. Jerk chicken is alright in a pinch. The best thing I had of the meal was the extra side of plantains. If you’re caribbean or any form of Latin then you know what that means.. man.

I waited for about 45 minutes before getting this, The red snapper is supposed to be fried it was greasy and soft and as you can see the plantings were also greasy and I was giving a small portion and I paid $27 in cash and also gave them a three dollar tip
