Service was prompt, attentive, and friendly. While the menu has lots of options, we all opted for the seafood. We had shrimp — both grilled and fried — and blackened catfish. The shrimp was outstanding!
Drink offerings were good, and we enjoyed our wine and beer on tap.
I don’t live in this area, but I understand why our friends who do brought us here! I’m glad they did!
I ordered queso on the side for my burger, and it ended up as a fry topping. I was necessarily complaining about queso fries, but it isn’t what I ordered. The fries were passable, but they weren’t something I’d specifically order again.
Finally, the Coke Zero tasted off and was a bit on the flat side.
On a separate dish, the person with me ordered the Mahi Mahi plate. He said it’s generally hard to find a place to get good Mahi Mahi, and it’s hard to do well. They did an excellent job on that dish.
For a small town, we’d definitely come back here again. Just know what you’re getting into.
Note: The kitchen closes before the while bar does. Maps says they close at 10 on Friday, so we didn’t realize the kitchen closed at 9.
Our server was sweet but regularly answered “what’s in this dish?” with ” I don’t know, I don’t eat that” (noooo) and told us the slaw was “horrible”. I went with sweet potato fries and everything was delicious. We also learned from our server, all her friends are getting married and she feels left behind. Share less, but stay sweet honey! You’re adorable and we enjoyed your quirkiness!
I WOULD GO AGAIN!
I WOULD WANT THE SAME SERVER!
lost 1 star for not finding out what’s in those dishes we asked about, instead of I DON’T KNOW say…”Let me go find out!”
Still FABULOUS
The marina with the fishing boats were awesome! Scenery and atmosphere is amazing. Relaxing! We got to see Daulphins !!
Fried shrimp and chicken fingers were tasty.
Large ladies restroom had toilet paper
I started out with the queso, which I shouldn’t have, because it was delicious and I couldn’t stop eating it. Definitely recommend.
For an entree I got 12 bone-in wings original hot. Unfortunately they were delivered to my table at room temperature. I didn’t complain though, I just got down to business. I’m going to assume this isn’t common place, and I was just an occasional victim to the lunch time rush. Despite the temperature of the food though, the wings were pretty meaty, but they had good flavor and they weren’t overcooked, which is a huge bonus. They were nice and moist (not sorry if you dislike that word).
Due to my lack of self control with the queso, I was unable to finish all 12 wings (I know, I’m a wimp). Brought them home to snack on later though.
Will definitely be back again for the wings, and will hope they are a bit warmer next time. Also excited to go back and try a few other items on their menu. I went with the intent to get the wings, but there were some other items that were screaming my name.
Service was quick and polite even during the lunch rush of a Friday.
They had a big fan by the front blowing air into the seating area. Felt really good inside, but any loose light weight items, like napkins or small children, could blow away if not properly secured.
If you’re in town for work or pleasure, give this spot a try. Nice view on the patio too if it’s not an absolute sauna outside.
