I am vegan, they had a large portion of stream cabbage and rice and beans and that was the “small”. The juice is also really nice. More of a take out spot but they have a single high top which worked for me!

I will never buy food from this place again. The rice and beans had no flavor and was gummy. The oxtails were mostly bones and had a string of hair in it. I try to support small businesses but some businesses need to do better and train staff on food safety, food quality and hygiene. Wasted my hard earned money here.

Food had no taste. The meat looked uncooked. The rice was crunchy and hard. It was redder than a cherry. Cashier is what saved them from a 1 star. She was nice. But the food was terrible. I don’t even think a homeless man would eat it.

I was super excited to try this food but it was so bad. I ordered large oxtail and for some reason the rice and cabbage tastes horrible. The rice had that old smell to it when you ate it and had that old rice slime taste. Super disappointed as the I paid $20 something for both. I hope I don’t get food poisoning from this

I’ve been eating at this restaurant for years and the service remains remarkable. The food is mouth watering the chefs are goal driven to please every customer with there traditional meals. I highly recommend this as a suggestion for lunch break. Stop buy and ask about their lunch specials!

I took my family out to eat here one Sunday evening April 7 2024. Ordered oxtail with rice and peas. Both orders had hair in it. Showed the clerk the hair. She saw it and said she couldn’t give us a refund. We didn’t want a replacement. I will never eat here. Why don’t people in the food service industry wear hair nets anymore.
