We stumbled upon this place during our Nashville trip in 2019. The barbecue and fixings were simply incredible. My husband then discovered that we now have a smaller location just a short drive away. Although it’s smaller than the original in Nashville, it still offers the same amazing food that we fell in love with. If you’re a barbecue enthusiast, you should definitely give it a try.

I ordered through UberEats today, to treat myself in the middle of a very hectic workday. I ordered this Slider Combo. Not realizing the photo on the app is of their regular, much bigger sandwich and side of Mac n Cheese (falsely advertised). This portion is really for a toddler… absolutely tiny. I am starving. The drink was bigger than the meal. Read carefully and don’t do what I did. Huge bummer. I know they aren’t in charge of the online app at all – they did get the order correct, just not what I expected.

Dickey’s Barbeque Pit has been at the Clackamas Town Center ongoing 9 months. In my honest opinion, the food is tasty considering it was a little pass 7 PM. It was unfortunate that Dickey’s sold out of the ribs and chicken. However, the Pulled Pork, Brisket, Turkey, and the Jalapeno Cheddar Kielbasa along with the Creamed Spinach, Mac & Cheese, and cornbread filled me well.
As for the service of the staff, I got great, friendly service and it was attentive. They were quick to answer our questions. What more can you ask for at the mall food court?
I definitely would come back to catch some of the BBQ ribs next time.
As I always say, try it once and decide for yourself.

Tried the 2-for-1 three-meat plate. Portions were good, but the flavor was a bit underwhelming. The fried okra stood out though—crispy and delicious. Overall, an okay option if you’re craving BBQ, but not a standout.

I ordered the 3 meat plate for $21 expecting a lot of meat, but what I got was 3 tiny portions. This is a legal scam. For sides I got the green beans with “bacon” and the baked beans. The baked beans were actually good, but the green beans had 0 pieces of bacon. They also were watery. Service wise the guy was friendly. I was severly disappointed.

Portion sizes were tiny, pricing exorbitant, and half the menu was crossed out as unavailable.
The menu said our food would come with a Texas dinner roll, instead we received an untoasted and unbuttered slice of white bread.
Service was lacking as well, the owner or manager was very hostile while taking our order, and refused to give more than one 2oz cup of barbecue sauce, despite us order $45 worth of meat. Meat itself was good, sides were not as good as I remember them being.
Won’t be back to this location.

This is a “weird and bizarre” restaurant in Lake Oswego, I’ve never had such a bad experience before in decades. Yesterday was a Thursday, we ordered for two include one of their Thursday deals, which was a few bucks cheaper than other days. But the male employee still charged me the regular price. While we were eating, I asked him why we weren’t supposed to be charged the deal price today. Then the male employee got angry and took our plates away rudely and quickly! We had just started eating! Okay, I asked for a refund, but the male employee asked us to leave immediately! He was the only employee working at that time, and I could tell he looked unhappy when we walked in, maybe he was too tired from work? I don’t know. What a bizarre and terrible experience! I absolutely do not recommend this Dickey’s in Lake Oswego, and I definitely won’t go there again, even though it’s close to home.

As a born and raised Texan, who has eaten at Dickeys for decades, this is a little better than meh. Roll was stale, and pulled pork needed to be marinated. The jalapeno cheddar kielbasa was delicious, and the beans took me back home. The mac and cheese needed to be mixed better. Some macaroni had little cheese. Very friendly employee. Clean store but no atmosphere. Tiny store. But the big no-no is no cobbler. Dickeys always has cobbler. Also, no Dr Pepper. In conclusion, this Texan was not impressed and will probably go elsewhere next time.

For a first experience at Dickey’s, I was shockingly disappointed. We ordered pick up from the Lake Oswego location and won’t be going back. The $12 salad was smaller than the $7 salad from Domino’s and was literally just lettuce and dry, rubbery brisket chunks, and came with a piece of the plastic bag from the lettuce. The “large” side of macaroni and cheese was also smaller than expected and compared in quality to the deli mac and cheese from Safeway that we could have purchased for $6 and received more food.

The potato salad was on point the green beans were soggy and had bits of vine from the plant in it. The pulled pork was nice and tender/juicy put the sauce was cheap ordered the hot it was not. The taste was ok I do recommend you try it. I will come back and order something new.
