We hosted a 60 person catered engagement dinner in our backyard and hiring Fresh Roll for our food & bartending services was the best decision ever. Beautiful buffet arrangement, awesome staff with great energy, and a really fun tasting & menu selection process. All our guests were raving about the food, and we were so excited to be able to share a vegetarian meal with them. Channa worked with our mood board for presentation & also made some pretty large recipe accommodations for us due to dietary restrictions. Her bartenders managed a craft cocktail open bar with recipes that my mixology business had designed. Thank you to Channa & her whole team. We can’t wait to come back to Cape Cod & visit for years to come.

I’m surprised I haven’t left a review? I’ve been coming here since I moved to South Shore. It has always been a wonderful place to eat. To go or even sitting and enjoying the atmosphere. Its even nicer now that they have re-decorated. This is comfort food for me, so it’s good to find it in a place like the Cape. I live off the Cape but I come here for work so I try to come here when I am having a craving and if I’m off at a good time. I hope you forever succeed here because this is a wonderful business.

This place is “plant based” not “vegan”
TL;DR: the tuna roll is perfect, but they really need more transparency about *everything* that isn’t vegan.

I got some clarifications on some confusing menu items. I don’t think they know how important it is that vegans absolutely need to know what not to order. We first called and were told to make a note when we order, but when we ordered online, there was no space to indicate that we needed it all to be vegan. So we went in person the next day.

There is real chicken egg as an option in the “make your own” bowl, and the Dubai strawberry cup isn’t vegan either. (They use real nonvegan Nutella, the dulce de leche is condensed dairy milk, and it sounded like some other components may not be vegan, because when I asked for confirmation that the white chocolate option was vegan, she changed her tune and suggested that I shouldn’t order it at all. She said they had it as a valentine’s special, but people kept requesting it, so they’re still offering it. I really hope vegans haven’t been unknowingly ordering it.) the fact that they first said everything is vegan and then corrected themselves only when I asked about specific items makes me nervous that there are other nonvegan things that aren’t disclosed. (I mean they were initially going to let me order the Dubai cup, but I kept asking about different components)

Other than this distressing confusion, we got the tuna roll (super tasty! The tuna seems like it might be a sort of TVP product) the palm rice cupcakes (fascinating spongy texture, somewhere between mochi and cupcake with a delightful coconut glaze) the chive rice cakes (also tasty, gooey middles with possibly garlic chives? But they say scallions, so maybe it’s scallion greens. Quite unique, haven’t had anything like it before). Street noodles (yummy. Creamy coconutty peanutty noodles with very lightly cooked tofu, maybe steamed, or perhaps uncooked. The carrots were nice and tender.) And lastly, we got the round noodles with scallops (pretty straightforward and simple, not all that flavorful. The tofu was nicely grilled, lovely fresh bean sprouts, the rice noodles were thick and chewy, the bok choy was sautéed just right. The scallops appeared to just be king oyster mushroom stems. Not very flavorful, and they appeared a bit too undercooked, the texture was too raw and squishy/rubbery for me, but my husband enjoyed them.)

My omnivore father-in law got the banh-mi, and he was disappointed with how little tofurky and tofu there was. The rest of the family got other things that I don’t remember, and were all very pleased with what they got

My husband and I were excited to find a place so close that is vegan and has good food. We were greeted warmly. The selection was impressive, especially considering most restaurants we go to have 2-6 menu items that dont have animals in them. It was so refreshing to be abelt to choose anything on the menu, for a change! We had the General Tso Cauliflower, some spring rolls and a noodle dish similar to pad Thai. Everything was very tasty and fresh. I was glad they have some seating on site, so we could eat there. I wasn’t sure they would have seating because the website talks about carryout. We were very satisfied with Fresh Roll and will definitely be back!

Decided to try freshroll today and I’m very glad I did! I am not vegan or vegetarian so I often overlooked this vegan restaurant thinking vegan food isn’t as good. Well this place changed my mind!!
I got the hometown tofu sandwich and the sweet potato & pineapple fresh roll. Both were amazing. I’ve never had vegetables taste so good! The fresh roll had just the right amount of sweet potato & pineapple along with the cucumber and lettuce and the sauce complemented perfectly. Talking about sauce, the sauce on the sandwich was amazing! The oyster mushrooms were perfect and the tofu was delicious.
To top it all off the lady there (didn’t catch her name) was very nice and offered Togo utensils and asked if I needed anything else.
On my way out I noticed a sign on the door. This is truly an awesome spot!

I live an hour away and will make the drive here just to enjoy their food. This is how vegetarian food should be… not like other restaurants that just throw a salad at you and call it a day. Im not even a vegetarian… I simply enjoy that every thing they make is made fresh, with love, and with tons of flavor. I dont feel like garbage after eatting here like I do with typical “take out”. They also upgraded their boba menu recently… a huge treat considering not a lot of other places offer boba. The biggest perk… their bobas are not a sugar bomb, the sweetness is perfectly balanced and can even be adjusted at your request.

I literally never take the time to write reviews but I loved my experience here so much I wanted to share! Got the classic fresh rolls, iced coffee, and the fried eggplant strips which was a special. At first I thought it was a little overpriced but after trying the food and seeing the big portions I felt the pricing was more than fair. Ingredients were all fresh and everything tasted amazing. I shared my leftovers with my family and they were all raving about it- especially the eggplant. Everything on the menu is vegetarian but don’t let that stray you away, the food is super filling and delicious. Also the service was top notch. They were so friendly and helpful, I can’t recommend this place enough. Will definitely go back!

What a fantastic place for delicious vegetarian food. Very friendly service and some great menu suggestions when we asked for recommendations, there were just too many wonderful options. We enjoyed the cauliflower wings, the original fresh roll and the chive rice cakes with refreshing blueberry lemonade. There are so many things on the menu that I want to try, I will definitely be back.

FreshRoll catered our wedding for 92 people and we are so glad we chose them! Channa was so easy to work with, and they made a 2 hour drive for the event. The food was absolutely delicious, and all of our guests (vegans, vegetarians, omnivores, gluten free) were raving about the meal. We will continue to support this awesome family-run restaurant and would highly recommend them for catering!

Cute cafe serving vegan/vegetarian Cambodian food. We tried the Korean BBQ cauliflower wings, the avocado shushi roll, seasonal spicy noodles, Khmer noodles, and cape cod seaweed salad. Delicious flavors, especially the cauliflower and Khmer noodles. Outside seating only has two tables but it is dog friendly.
