Was really craving Caldo De Res on this cold Sunday and I’m glad I stopped by Culebra Cafe! Friendly staff, delicious food, and nice atmosphere. I also got the barbacoa taco and it was delicious as well. They also had a nice salsa and chips as well. Great place will have to come by again!

Nice breakfast and lunch spot. Food was very good and fresh ingredients. Indoor eating is a bit tight but on a nice day there is outdoor seating. The staff is so nice and welcoming. Definitely going to be one of my texmex spots.

Ate here for first time today for breakfast and had huevo rancheros. Met Allison and Betty who are so nice! I then told Allison I would like to order a side of carnitas to try. And she gave me an ample sample of green for free! And it too was great. The homemade corn tortillas are really tasty too. It’s such a quant, bright, cheery place. I will be back soon. I urge you to try it out! You won’t be disappointed!

Second time getting tamales from here. Had them a few years ago and was let down then, thought I’d give them a second chance to see if there was any change. Disappointed again. Like the first time, hardly any meat, all masa. Didn’t even come with any salsa.

If your skin is dry, then the Barbacoa is what you’re missing. The meat is bathing in oil and served that way. I had ordered two oil tacos and got exactly what I asked for.
