Visited on a Sunday late afternoon and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The parking was very limited, and while there is a large outdoor patio, the indoor area felt small and quite old, giving it a plain atmosphere. Not sure how this place is still open?

To our surprise, there were only six people in the place, which made it feel dead. The bartender was nice but mentioned that we needed to come to him to order, which was a bit ironic given the lack of patrons.

We only wanted an appetizer and a beverage. The nachos were underwhelming with limited cheese from a bag and lacked flavor, with just pickled jalapeños, sour cream and a marinara-tasting salsa. The corn dog tasted okay, but honestly, Sonic sells better ones for less. The beer was flat and didn’t have much flavor either.

Overall, I can’t recommend this place and won’t be returning.

We chose this place based off of the high reviews. When we walked in, it was absolutely dead, except for one other family. That should’ve been our first sign.
We got the wheat beer and the champagne seltzer, the seltzer was the only redeeming quality. The reason we chose this place was because they had a kids menu, including a corn dog for my kiddo. I am a vegetarian, and ordered the nachos. The nachos have chili, which contains beef (I didn’t know it had meat when I ordered.) When I asked the server if they could remake it (once it came out,) she said yes, but they would have to charge me again because she, “didn’t know.” Guys – I paid $24 for mediocre chips with melted cheese and four pickled jalapeños. I am so disappointed, and now I have to find something else to eat. The fried okra was decent, everything else food wise was subpar. The server was awkward, and when she told me that she would have to charge me, no longer spoke to me, except to ask if she could take the plates, which were really plastic baskets, away while we were eating. We will never return here. Terrible business practices- your bartender should have the capability to void charges herself.

A fun, casual, neighborhood bar and brewery. Their Animas City Amber beer was excellent. Enjoyed their shepherds pie too. But what gives them 5 stars are the people. Both staff and customers. Genuine, friendly, and caring.

We had the most amazing meal! Poutine fries and shepherds pie were delicious. Paired mine with a breakfast beer of orange juice and blueberry ale called the Hermosa and they had us hooked!! We will definitely be back on our next trip.

Super friendly staff & dog lovers! Several other breweries in the area are not dog friendly. It was a beautiful day for the patio with plenty of shady spots. Friday =Ladies day & $3 pints! We had cheeseburgers w/fries and several beers.

Had a great afternoon at Durango Beer and Ice – service was top notch, friendly and attentive. The food we ordered was fresh and tasty. There was a wide selection of beers on tap, and we enjoyed every single one poured for us. Best of all, they really want you to find your beer, there was no dirty looks or side-eye when we asked to sample certain types to find what we wanted to order. They do to-go packs as well if you find a brew you want to bring home.

Beers were very good. Service was great. My burger would compare to an overpriced Burger King quarter pounder. Good for the beer and service. Avoid the food.

Great beers and location for the most part. The beers were good but seemed to have a different take on the naming convention which proved to be interesting. We sat on the patio and got a few good whiffs of a rather unpleasant smell, couldn’t really say exactly where it came from but some outdoor fans or plants might help in the future.

A little out of downtown but definitely worth it. We rode our bikes there using the Animus River trail. Had a couple appetizers they were very good. And of course good beer.
Sorry I can’t remember her name but the girl behind the bar was engaging and fun to talk to.
