It was our first time here. The food and service were great. Definitely recommend the CHILAQUILES CON POLLO it was amazing. Would definitely come back just for that. The restaurant also has indoor and outdoor seating. As well as a lot of parking. Very chill atmosphere and kid friendly.

So this was our first time coming to Teaspoon and I was super excited as it’s been on my list of Tucson spots for awhile now. It unfortunately, did not live up to the hype. It could have had it not been for a few issues. So the positives – menu is fabulous – lots of great and tasty options and a the variety was nice. And. They do accommodate gluten allergies by offering gluten free bread or leaving something off a dish. Appreciated. They have gluten free French Toast – yay – but no gluten free pancakes which was disappointing. It’s also frustrating that you can’t simply add a piece of gluten free toast or a pancake to an entree. Silly considering so many restaurants are able to easily do this. So positives – great menu, creative and filling dishes! I ordered the Chilaquiles and I could have definitely shared this dish with someone. It did come out lukewarm though and there wasn’t very much chicken or crema. I asked the server for more but by the time he’d arrived with it, we were finished with our meal. Which brings me to the service – SO SLOW. My gosh, it took forever to get our coffees and then our food and then anything we needed during the meal. The Server was friendly but it was slow and inattentive. The other factor to a less than stellar experience was the noise level. I’d read it was loud but this was like stadium or concert level loud. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a restaurant that loud in all my life. It was insane!
So the food was good but not served hot. The service was insanely slow. But the Vietnamese Coffee was DELISH and we loved that and we liked the creativity of the menu. If the other factors had been better I think it’s a place we would come to often but it just missed the mark on alot of things sadly.

Absolutely amazing breakfast spot! First time here and came back the next day due to loving it so much during our short trip to Arizona. We had the bubble waffle and chicken dish (can’t remember the name!) plus just eggs and bacon which was all fabulous. Love the clotted cream on the bubble waffle- so rich but light and delicious! Great servers and atmosphere too. Glad we found this spot!

I met some friends for a monthly brunch and we sat on the patio. It was lovely! It was a little brisk and they brought a heater over unprompted. Our server, John I believe, was super friendly (and had great hair!). Our food came out fairly quickly. The proportions were large and everything tasted fresh and delicious. I had the southwestern skillet and loved it.

We enjoyed our first meal at Teaspoon Foothills yesterday and we truly enjoyed the visit. We ordered the Blueberries and Cream French Toast and the Crab Eggs Benedict. Both items were served quickly, were entirely enjoyable, and are highly recommended. The menu is a smorgasbord of deliciousness, so we plan on returning their soon.
In addition, the restaurant is very attractive, clean, and well-maintained. The service was also friendly, attentive, and excellent.

After many failed attempts—either no time or no available tables—I finally made it to Teaspoon, and it was absolutely worth the wait.
We went as a family to wrap up a short trip, and from the start the place impressed us: elegant, sophisticated, clean, and welcoming. The kind of space that immediately puts you in a good mood.
Everything we ordered was delicious. The bubble waffles were fun, crispy, and addictive, while the Three Little Pigs omelet was on another level—rich, perfectly balanced, and simply outstanding. The service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm.
And don’t skip the Vietnamese coffee. It’s smooth, bold, and exactly the energy boost you need to power through the rest of the day.
Teaspoon isn’t just a breakfast spot—it’s a full experience, and one I’ll gladly repeat. ☕

Don’t get me wrong it was good, it was not outstanding. Way too loud inside. Servers rush around like they are short staffed. We did sit inside, maybe being outside would have been better. Fantastic Bloody Mary’s! Some of our food was undercooked. (Savory Dutch Baby). Overall we enjoyed ourselves, but left with a headache from all of the noise.

Tried Teaspoon (on River) for the first time. Was there at noon on a Sunday and there was a wait but 2 seats were open at the counter so we chose those.
The food was outstanding! I asked the waitress “for a first timer at lunch should I try the burger or the Morning Bowl?” She said “You can get a burger anywhere, go for the Bowl.” I’m so glad I did! Fluffy eggs over homestyle potatoes, with bacon crumbles throughout. All topped by a wonderful biscuit style gravy. Everything was cooked perfectly.
Husband had the Country Chicken, also cooked perfectly. I tried a bite and it was flavorful, with a completely different taste from my bowl even though both had gravy.
Very clean restaurant and sitting at the counter I observed everyone doing their part.
Per other reviews it is quite noisy but the atmosphere is joyful and I didn’t notice the sound after we sat down.

The bubble waffle was great and the sweet cream was just sweet enough. The skillet was fresh made with crispy (not soggy) sliced potatoes. Overall would highly recommend trying out this place. Everything was fresh. Our only complaint is we wish there was one in phoenix . A little loud in there but to be expected with a place like this.

The southwest and Buddha bowl can be veganized. Make sure to ask for more beans chickpeas and avocado to sub out the bacon cheese and egg.
I wish there was a better vegan protein option like tofu scramble. Or with the Vegan Egg!
Servers were nice and knowledgeable
Atmosphere is bright and clean.
