THEY HAVE A KIDS PLAY AREA! The first two weeks following the Grand Opening you couldn’t park or get through the drives thru line within 10 minutes. (Which was typical)
Now, they control the drive thru lines very efficiently. I believe it took them a few weeks to get analytics of high traffic times, but they’re moving well now.
Inside is very clean, I always see an employee cleaning the facility. The kids play area isn’t huge like back in the 90’s when we were growing up. But, it’s got enough space for 5-8 kids to slide, play tag and have a good time.
I’m quite impressed with the location and staff.

We went through the drive thru for some take out and we’re pleasantly surprised at the amazing service we received here. The service was fast, the price was cheaper than most fast food joints and the crew working the morning/midshift were all polite and quite delightful actually! Huge surprise from what service anywhere is usually like nowadays! Great job Alachua Chick-Fil-A!!! We want to thank you for showing us there are still some places that don’t disappoint and have you leaving an establishment feeling satisfied.

So nice to have Chick fil a in Alachua and not have to drive to Gainesville. Never had any issues out of any staff, and actually Fallen always does a fantastic job managing the drive thru with mobile orders and regular orders in the morning. I hope she is management. The only downside I’ve noticed is the chicken itself has a lot of breading on it (at least the sandwich) and it’s made it less appetizing for me. I’m not sure if that’s all the restaurants now or just something with this location. Overall, very satisfied!

We’ve had decent experiences at this Chick-fil-a before (sometimes long waits, but not a huge deal). But today my wife ordered a pickup order for breakfast around 10:10AM, and I went and got to the pickup counter at 10:25. They had not made the order yet, and the cashier did not acknowledge me for several minutes, helping other customers who got their after me. At around 10:32 the cashier tried to get the order made, but the manager (Bekah I believe) refused and told me that they had “run out of breakfast supplies” which I do not believe. I do not intend to return to this Chick-fil-A, we will drive to Gainesville if we want CFA.

I love Chick-fil-A and am super excited of the new location in Alachua. I went through the drive thru today 12/9/25 and it was of course during lunch rush and I was missing my 8 count nuggets and couldn’t go back due to my break at work. I understand how hectic it gets and appreciate the work everyone puts in but please make sure (double check) that the entire order is there before handing it off. I should have checked but also shouldn’t have to.

i believe new management may be needed as chickfila is known for long drive thrus but quick time thru the line. if new hires in a new location aren’t able to perform this, it’s not their fault. it’s the people leading them. they may have preemptively hired new people to take over shift leads, but it may be too soon. i think they need more time with real chickfila trainers and they may have jumped the gun too quickly. i believe the employees are smart and capable and it’s a matter of proper training. i will continue to eat here of course but hopefully they take some after hours PAID time to work on the flow.

My family and I love this chick fil a! We eat here once a week at the very least and have an enjoyable experience every time! Our kids love the play area that is kept in top notch shape. We love the staff and food!

Chick Fil A food is always amazing. But the drive thru at this location is HORRIBLE. Hands down the slowest chick fil a I’ve ever been to. One lane for drive thru one for mobile. They don’t move those who are holding up the line to one of the clearly marked spots for waiting. I literally had an employee tell me that the line sometimes takes 30 mins.

I was worried about stopping here because all of the reviews talk about how slow they are and I was in a hurry. However, my wife loves Chick-fil-A so we stopped. Service was great, the kids working there were kind and it was just as quick as any other Chick-fil-A.
