I stopped by on a whim while driving through the area and I am so glad I did! It is a nice little local place that is stuffed to the gills with antiques. Everywhere you look there is something interesting to see. It was a lovely break from a long drive. I had their pulled pork meal. They have a delicious homemade barbecue sauce with a great balance of smokiness, mustard, and vinegar. I ended up getting a large jar because I liked it so much. Their homemade sides–mac and cheese and coleslaw–were also great. The staff and farm dog were very friendly as well.

Bbq was ok really nothing to write home about. Very small portions baked beans were good but a very small portion. Two people for lunch was 28$

This little place has just reopened. I have been wanting to visit for a long time. I planned to visit when I found out about the reopening.
My wife and I arrived around noon. We walked around exploring as the light rain was ending. The first thing I noticed was the “outhouse” being advertised as the cleanest in the state. The second thing was the amazing smell of smoked meat.
There were plenty of things to look at and experience. The pulled pork and baked beans were excellent. The zoo was populated with some very tiny goats.
Plenty of things to see – a crashed plane, a teepee, trucks, cars. tractors and items of interest wherever you looked.
If you have the time and enjoy viewing collections of memorabilia, do yourself a favor and visit Hamlin Hills.

Always love it when we have time to stop by Hamlin Hills Farm in Forsyth, Georgia. Always fun, good food, shopping and farm animals. Sunflowers and corn maze depending on the season. GEORGIA peaches are PERFECT right now. Delicious! I was having so much fun, I lost my wallet. It was 2 hours after they closed, but I called anyway. The owner answered the phone and I told him what I did. NICEST PEOPLE!! So kind and helpful. This is why I support family owned businesses.

We were on a road trip from Miami when we suddenly saw a huge pig visible from the highway. We decided to stop and try it. At first, we thought it was a BBQ place with a variety of meats, but it wasn’t. They only have pork, which makes sense considering the huge pig we had seen. We decided to order food for lunch anyway, and the portion they gave us was so small that we thought it was a kids’ menu. These places don’t usually serve such small amounts, which was a disappointment. It’s worth mentioning that they asked us to keep our dog on a leash and with us at all times, and there were loose dogs in the place. We really don’t mind, but don’t ask us as a condition: we can bring our dog in only if she’s on a leash, and the other dogs are fine. The place is really beautiful, but the food, portions, and menu were disappointing. First and last time.

A great pit stop! Our little one loved the petting zoo area and tractors. The food was fast and delicious. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed. 10/10.

This place is so great. We missed the exit and decided to turn around and come back and we were so glad we did. The couple running the farm are so sweet. There are cute baby goats to check out, and there is also a cute gift shop.
We came for the BBQ and it didn’t disappoint! This is not the place for you if you’re in a big hurry. It is the place for you if you want a super fun atmosphere to stretch your legs and relax before you get back on the road.

Delicious BBQ pork sandwich! We’ve seen this place traveling down I-75 many times and wanted to stop. Finally did and the food was delicious! It’s worth mentioning that if you get just the sandwich it’s $9 but if you get the meal it includes 2 sides and a drink for just $3 more. There was no charge for walking the property to see the animals and scenery with all the cool things to look at. The BBQ sauce is a vinegar based sauce which I don’t normally care for but this was absolutely delicious! I would definitely eat it again! The bathrooms are outside and there is a funny sign that says “we had to choose between lights and water. We chose water”. It’s funny, but it’s not a joke. There is minimal light coming in through the cracks in the walls from the outside. But don’t let that keep you from stopping for this awesome place!

The GM Brandon was so friendly and engaging. The BBQ was tender and delicious! Looking forward to returning next time I am in the Forsyth area. Wish I had known about it sooner because it is that good!
They are open Wed-Sun. I encourage you to check out the food, store, and the antique memorabilia. Quite and experience!
