The Red Hog Saloon was awesome! Really good service and the food was great. I can only speak to the Pig Wings though. They are bigger than you would expect. If you order anything else you should get some of those to share at the table!

Stopped here for the Red Hog burger (pork, beef, bacon, cheese!)… it was great. Also a good variety of sides. This is a very informal place with multiple round tables that seat 5 to 6. Right on the main highway in Alpena across from the Jack Link’s jerky factory. Good prices, good service. A ‘hole in the wall’ worth stopping at if you’re hungry and passing by.

Food used to be good. Burgers are much smaller these days. Price of fries & tots are the same price as other appetizers, $5.50! I ordered tots and was lucky to count a dozen tots in my to go box. Left a negative review on their facebook page and comment was deleted and now I’m unable to comment on their page. Ridiculous and petty management if they delete all negative comments & reviews.

We stopped in on our way home from our pheasant hunt in SD and couldn’t have been happier with the food and the service! Perfect stop for a quick bite! The pork wings were phenomenal! Highly recommend!!

Deliciously unexpected goodness in a village saloon. This small town saloon offers any assortment of homemade bar food including a daily special. You can’t go wrong with the Red Hog burger or pizza. Don’t forget an order of the pig wings. If you are traveling within 30 miles of the Red Hog stop by for a meal.

Had a great meal at Red Hog Saloon. Awesome Chicken real mashed potatoes,s corn and a bun was the special. They also had a great honey cinnamon spread for the bun. Have never been disappointed in a meal at the Red Hog yet.

We had pizza and a French dip the prices are fair enough the food is 3.5 stars it’s not great as far as pizza goes but the sandwiches were good most good in south Dakota lacks soul
And flavor it’s very out of a box here Italian has to be fresh hand made not pre done I cooked with Sicilians for 25 years and it’s hard to like food that just isn’t thought out and it’s just made with no passion because there’s no competition that does it better so why try somany times I want to just show Therese people how easy it is to do it and be a force in the industry
