Absolutely egregious and aggressive staff. Tried to enter and the bouncer at the front told me I was banned. Mind you, I’ve never been to this establishment in my life. When I tried to understand why I was “banned”, I was told “you are not handsome enough”. That’s when his coworker had to step in for him and explain the dress code. I’ve been to much more formal establishments then this and have never been treated in such an inappropriate way. Save your time and money for your summer vacation and go elsewhere. Absolutely appalling, unprofessional, inappropriate, and insulting behavior from the staff.

Tried entering this place on July 6th around 12am. Without a doubt, this was the worst Club/restaurant experience I’ve ever had. I completely understand having a dress code for an establishment, but that doesn’t mean the doormen they employ have to be completely unprofessional and insulting. The website’s dress code says “ Casual – No ball caps, printed T-shirts, or sleeveless shirts for men after 9:30 p.m”. I showed up wearing a turtleneck, black jeans and dress boots. When walking up to enter the bouncer said I was banned. BANNED FROM SOMEWHERE I’VE NEVER BEEN BEFORE???. When I asked him for a serious answer he stated it was because I’m not good looking enough. WOW. After standing there shocked for a minute the other bouncer walked to me and said it was actually because I didn’t meet the dress code for having a logo on the neck of my turtleneck, which doesn’t even go against the dress code. Why couldn’t the bouncer had just stated from the beginning it was because I didn’t meet dress policy rather then banning and insulting me. The staff don’t even know their own policy. Completely absurd. I appreciate a classy establishment, but these young men working the door need to get it together. Never will I ever consider going here again.
Save your time and money. There’s much nicer places to go around the area such as a nice Italian restaurant down the block anyway.

Customer service is superb, employees treat customers like life long friends. Drinks are nice, location is clean. What to know is that the saloon is very small and can get crammed easily. Otherwise, it’s worth getting a drink there.

My favorite place in Sea Isle. Always come here when I am in the area and it holds a special place for me because I had my 21st there years ago. Heads up make sure you have a wad of bills in your wallet because they’re cash only.

Would give less if I could. I checked the “dress code” on their website… which is ridiculous for a Sea Isle bar, but showed up in a plain shirt anyway…. But was still turned away… rudely… by the bouncer. I’ve been going to bars for 16 years in Sea Isle City, I’ve never been turned away by bouncer… And in my entire life as 21+ individual… I’ve never met a bouncer as rude as the one I experienced tonight.

You have a dress code policy? It’s underage kids galore in there. Grow up

Such a strange experience … walked in and was greeted nicely by bouncer, then bartender told us no one would be served unless all men removed their baseball caps, so everyone complied. Then, after our first drink, we were told no one was allowed in the bar with a logo on their shirt … and were were offered loaner t-shirts … so we left. I actually thought it was a joke. So many rules, probably should be posted somewhere.

I checked their dress code policy on their website and still got turned away, the bouncer was rude about it and said they’ve been doing it for 40 years like I care. He offered me a shirt for $20 which is ridiculous. This place reminds me of memories in margate with their pointless dress codes. Never going here again.

Don’t bother going after 9:30p, since you’ll be in Sea Isle (a beach town) and will likely have a t-shirt on (because it’s the summer).
Last night 12 of us decided to go to the Pour House and had a great time, because two people in our party had 1) a long sleeve shirt with a brand logo and 2) a 2/3 sleeve shirt with an Oktoberfest logo. Their own website says they don’t allow t-shirts with anything printed on them, nothing about long sleeves.
Anyway, seems like the owner will be too sell the place at some point if they keep this up. They only had 10 people there for a band that started at 9:30p and they could’ve had 22, but decided our money was no good there, forever.
