Its best to get the lunch or dinner special you get more bang for your buck. I mostly order Lo Mein at most Chinese restaurants but this place uses a lighter color and less sauce which I dont mind because my taste for salt is more pronounced. I just dislike places that drown their dishes with soy. Its only take out only.

Sorriest sweet and sour chicken I’ve had in a long time. Wayyyy overcooked and rubbery and most pieces were so small with no meat in it at all. I’ve tried this place twice and unfortunately won’t be back. There is a tastier option near the food lion in Smithfield !

I’ve been getting chinese food from Taste of China for pretty much as long as I can remember, and they have always had top notch food when I’ve ordered. Even when I’ve eaten at other restaurants, I’ve sworn they have the best egg rolls around and you wouldn’t find anyone better. On the extremely rare occasions I’ve ordered something that wasn’t as good as usual, it’s never deterred me from their location because 99.9 percent of the time their food is excellent. If you’re in the area and looking for good quality food, check them out!

Early dinner time. Got a vegetarian mix for the grill. The coconut shrimp excellent. The egg rolls are crunchy. Love the hot and sour soup. Black pepper chicken spicy in a good way. Food is always hot and fresh when visiting. Service is always polite and friendly.
