Birthday dinner ruined!
The bartender/server told us to find a place to sit and she’ll be with us shortly. We get our half flat drinks and ask about the special. She gets a little snippy and says she doesn’t know. We asked about the prime rib, to be told rudely that they don’t have any because it wasn’t ordered. Then a glass of water got tipped over and you could see the attitude growing on her face. We asked for another glass of water, and a good 20 minutes go by, and still no water… Went to the bartender to ask for a glass of water and get more rudeness. Told she would bring it out when she can, so I stated I would wait there for it. Here comes even more attitude! She proceeds to walk into the kitchen and start fighting with the cook…. Our food starts coming out and the wait begins again… We have no silverware or way to eat, sauces, ketchup, ect. We wait even longer before we get up and find our own silverware and things. Food comes out tasting like they pulled freezer burnt NY Strips and defrosted them in a microwave and charge an outrageous price. They were awful! We never got asked how our food was, if we needed refills, or if there was anything else she could get us… Spoke to another couple there that says they ordered the “Special” Salmon, and it looked like they had no idea to how to make it. There wasn’t anything special except it had zero flavor. We are getting to point of wanting to just leave at this point, and the waitress finally comes over to clear plates. My father explained that the steak was pretty tough and he was unable to eat it. He also pointed out that I wasn’t happy with mine either…She replied with what do you expect me to do about it? You took a bite out of it and now you want me to refund you? How else are we supposed to taste it? It continues….
We are SO OVER this place and want to leave. My father went to pay and asked if there was something we could about the steak. She began cursing and throwing up her hands. Getting extremely disrespectful with my father. She looks at him and says if he has a problem, he can call her boss. At this point, I step in. I tell her to get me the number because I would love to talk to her boss. Then she proceeds to tell me she can’t do that and starts claiming that I’m harassing her. She runs back to kitchen in a full blown panic telling the cook that she needs her up here right now! The cook comes out and looks at this mess of bartender and asks what the issue is. I told her I wanted the bosses number and she said no problem and calmly walked me back to get the phone number. The cook apologized multiple times for her behavior and was able to get the phone number. I’m absolutely in disgust with this establishment. I will never go back and will definitely steer people clear of that place.

Best steak I’ve had since I moved to Nebraska a couple years ago. The sides were just as good. Had smoked old fashions. Can’t believe these young girls even knew what an old fashioned was let alone made the best drink I’ve had.

This small town restaurant has big service and great food. The portions are large and the price is right. With a full bar and lots of food choices, it is the place to go.

When we arrived, we weren’t sure exactly where to go, no direction given to seat ourselves or wait. We finally self seated in the bar dining area. There were several children running around. Once we got noticed, a woman asked us what we wanted, “DRINKS ONLY!” She seemed bothered, rude, possibly overwhelmed. We did promptly receive drinks. Our server arrived, and at that point, we had excellent service. He answered questions and was polite and welcoming. (Several of the prices are listed on the menu as “market price,” which is frustrating because no information is given as to what that may be by the server or an information board.) We had the special (which did have the price listed on a small board by the door). Special was prime rib, and it was fantastic. Cooked perfectly and had excellent flavor. The sides were very good as well. The total bill for 3 people (1 beer, 2 sodas) and 3 prime rib dinners was very reasonable. We will definitely be back despite the bumpy beginning of our arrival.

Arrived about 1830 on a Tuesday. Plenty of seats available. We selected a booth in the room without the bar, which my wife instantly dubbed the “cowboy ballroom.” Service was awesome. I ordered the Flat Iron steak (market price was $25). It was worth it. Absolutely delicious. The sides were okay. Did I mention the steak! Wow! She had the shrimp kabob. A little over cooked but okay. She thought the steak was awesome, too. I also had a pint of the Voodoo Ranger IPA which was a nice brew. We shared a vanilla/caramel crunch cake for dessert. We parked on the street out front, and said hello to the guy on a horse.

We had an outstanding family dinner here on a Friday night. They offer an extensive choice of steaks and surf & turf, plus a full bar. Drop in for an authentic western steakhouse experience in a cowboy/cowgirl ballroom. Amazing service and atmosphere.

We are new to the area, hadn’t eaten here before, and needed a close by place to eat last night with a party of 8. I called and they said they were trying to close because the cook didn’t show up. I said that was fine, but then to my surprise they said we could come on in. The owner even came from home to make sure we got dinner! Our waitress was amazing and made no mistakes. The food was great. All the kids really liked it. Winner winner! We will be back. Thank you so much for this much needed hospitality!

Love the bands. Nice atmosphere. Hit and miss on the food. Mostly very good, but chicken wings were over done and steak nachos had about 5 pieces of meat and cheese, not much else.
If you eat try to find out if Chris is cooking. Guarantee you will have a great meal

Decor is wonderful, fun to look at. Good thing because it took over an hour to get two cheeseburgers. But the food was good and friendly servers, food was just very slow in arriving. They didn’t appear to be really busy and there was plenty of room for additional customers.
