Its a hot dog shop, not sure where your expectations are but i can tell you were they should be. They serve hot dogs and they serve them fast. You can get them with chili or cheese or with chill and cheese and even just plain. They have fries that you can order the same way. $20 for two hot dogs and a chili fries, some would say that is expensive but they do have make a living off selling hot dogs some way. 5 stars

The cheese fries with cheese sauce were excellent. The hot dog was overall decent. The chili sauce stood out as excellent, and the hot dog itself was above average. However, the shredded cheese lacked flavor; I would recommend opting for cheese sauce instead. My only complaint was that the bun tasted slightly stale, and steaming the buns would make a noticeable improvement. Despite that, I would certainly give this place another try.

I went to MP Coney Island for the first time today. Since I moved here a couple years ago I couldn’t find a spot for good hotdogs. Well that certainly changed! We got four chili cheese dogs with onions and mustard and an order of fries. The dogs were great and the chili had great flavor and just spicy enough to give a good kick. The fries were great and certainly plentiful. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. We are definitely looking forward to going back soon!

First time at MP Coney Island Hot Dogs and they were great!! Very tasty chili, out of this world fries (Cheese/Chili/Gravy options) and a huge serving for $3 (toppings are additional but not much $).
Service was quick and friendly. Their Cheeseburger was very good too. Probably suggest getting a double burger.

Ok, let me start off saying this… I was there Friday 12:12 around 7pm I believe, maybe 6pm. I NEED TO STATE THIS ABOUT THE STORE IN HERMITAGE, the Chicago dog and chili dog was AMAZING. Seriously like they nailed it and how it’s prepared!!! I’m from new castle pa and I get this combo in my town for the last year like once a month. And it’s good in new castle, until I had this locations hotdogs. They stacked the Chicago dog and chili cheese so amazing! My eyes rolled back eating the food. Now that I’m back in town in new castle it doesn’t feel the same, it’s lacking the right combo that hermitage gave me. I know it is silly to leave a review over perfect hotdogs but I am now traveling from new castle to hermitage for these dogs lol because it’s not the same. I wish new castle did it like hermitage. Seriously five stars!!!

I purposely get my hotel close to this Hermitage Pa location. Call them to place your takeout order or come sit in their very clean dining room. Outside seating with a fire pit, too! The best chili dogs in the world! Very nice people running this restaurant.

Me and my husband’s first time coming. We ordered 4 chili cheese dogs with onion two with pickles and two strawberry milkshakes. The milkshakes were loosed felt like I was drinking strawberry milk. The employee who served us was nice and attempted to thicken it unfortunately it was still too thin for my liking but it tastes good. Chili cheese dogs dogs were absolutely delicious! Will definitely come back.

Long time fan of Coney Island. Visited for the holidays and came to this location for the first time. The service was great. The cashier informed us about a new special and took the time to answer a dietary restriction question. Many places don’t take the time to let you know about specials. Food was as delicious as I remember the New Castle location. Excellent service! We will be returning many times!

Have dined at coney island in New Castle for years. This location in Hermitage is super .Best Chilli dogs and fries, milkshakes are delicious. This is the place for hotdogs, highly recommend. Need to turn the heat up a little in building.

Stopped by for lunch like I do many times. Ask them if they had military discount which I’ve never asked before and they did and they also just gave me my lunch for free. Absolutely wonderful gesture and amazing food as always! But when I do have to pay the prices are unbelievably cheap!!!
