This was my first visit. I found them randomly on Facebook and thought I should give them a try. I love Mediterranean foods, especially the kabobs and falafel. Since I drove from 25 minutes away, I waited until arrival to place my order. The person at the window was nice but said I’d need to order online… because of this, I missed out on being able to ask questions (“what’s your most popular item?,” “Would you order the plain or mint yogurt soda?”).
I only had to wait about 20 minutes and the brought my meal to the car. He was also kind enough to instruct me to open the yogurt slowly due to its carbonation content (had he not warned me, I guarantee I would be wearing it!).
I purchased the lamb kabob. It was succulent and spiced nicely. The saffron rice was a little bland, but by mixing the kabob and roasted tomato/pepper was able to “spice” it up, a little. I’d give the dish a 4.0/5.0.
I also ordered the falafel. I am normally a big fan of falafel, but these were a little dry… maybe overcooked… with not a lot of flavor. Next time, I will probably opt for a different “side.” For the price ($15), it was a let down.
The “Yogurt Soda” was quite interesting. I was expecting something like a Lasi, but it is not. I didn’t love it, but certainly didn’t hate it either. Next time, I will try the mint rather than the plain.
If we had other Mediterranean restaurants “locally,” I’d probably give it 3.0/5.0 stars, but since we are limited, and I really miss this cuisine, I am upgrading to a 4.0. They seem to have a good base and ability to grow… then again, being NE Wisconsin, they could be just cutting down the flavor profile to accommodate a bland palette. After all, we are known for our “fruit wines.” Yuck! Gross!!! Next time, I will ask for “full flavor” and see if they add more authentic spices.

Food was great, perfectly cooked and the flavors all melded together very nicely. Im looking forward to trying more of their items. You should order order online, so be prepared for that. No dine-in option. Only accepts exact cash. a little odd of a set up but it is 100% worth it.

Ok this was my experience today. I went to the restaurant with my wife, & found out this is a online ordering place only. Ok that’s fine, online ordering us becoming a big thing nowadays. I have never been to a Mediterranean restaurant before, however my wife has. I have been to several restaurants & in Oshkosh that serve Asian food. I enjoy local food, like the Vietnamese restaurant next door to Carmel Crisp. Anyway after we ordered & we got the text saying our food was ready I pulled up to the window. We got our food & we drive home to eat since there is no place to sit inside. Our first impression was that this food is like a plain cooked home cooked meal. Very basic but not in a good way. The lavash bread was undercooked. My wife makes various types of flat breads at home, like roti & Indian bread. Anyway this was definitely rubbery & not browed at all. The baba ganoush tastes premade from a store. Our main dishes the celery soup & beef Koobideh Kabob both tasted very plain, except for salt there wasn’t much flavor. My wife ordered hers with spice, but they just gave one whole pepper, no extra season’s. We can get similar food in Appleton at the restaurant, but at least that has flavor. Both my wife & I agreed this food was too bland & was maybe made more for the local population, rather than having authentic food. This so far has the worset tasting food in Oshkosh for a local restaurant. Sorry I really wish this was better, I really had high hopes. Unless things change I probably will not be back.

We’ve ordered twice from them so far. Each time has been great. We are a big fan of the beef kabobs and the baba ganoush. We will definitely be ordering here again!

I ordered the chicken kabob and the Shirazi salad. I added the salad to my rice. Chicken had good flavor, just a touch dry. I will be back! Can’t wait to try more items. Love the 5 ingredients or less.

I really like the food its delicious. But I am very unhappy with the amount of food you get for what you pay. One of the things I got was the split pea stew I paid $15 for a very small bowl. I also got some hummus I only paid $8 for that n it was in the same size bowl as the pea stew. I feel that $15 should get you a bigger bowl of stew. The total for everything I got for dinner was $70 I think you should have enough food to have it two times when you pay that much money.

I got the shirazi salad, personally I found it to be mediocre. I loved some aspects but it was just so sweet and the onion overpowered everything else. Really just felt like eating an onion. The staff was kind and the food was done quickly!
