We’ve been making great pizzas in our same location for 40 years. We strive to make the best pizzas in Santa Rosa. We bake and also have amazing gluten free dough. Sandy’s has ice cream, and salads and room for dine-in. We’re located in the historic McDonald district in Santa Rosa. Locally owned, small business.

Music is great! Staff was friendly but not over helpful. I waited about 5 min at the counter with no one around. The pizza was low mid on flavor and the crust was simultaneously burnt and raw at the same time. Props for environment but bake your pizzas longer please.

For years, Sandy’s Take & Bake Pizza has been on my radar, but somehow I never made the trek—until now. A recent post in a F-Book group jogged my memory, and I finally decided it was time to give it a go. First impression? The place is spotlessly clean, which I always appreciate. I went for a large Thai chicken pizza, and even though my oven isn’t the greatest (I may have slightly overcooked it), the flavors still shone through—absolutely delicious! Sandy’s, you’ve got a new fan!

This place is fantastic! So many years living nearby and not utilizing. Nothing like going in to Sandy’s for a hot slice. I love the cheese they use, the quantity, their homade ranch, and proprietary crust. Don’t forget the homemade tomato sauce, you can taste the love! Amazing family and establishment!

We ordered a large Sandy‘s combo, no olives baked at the restaurant.
At first glance, I thought the toppings would be overwhelming however they complemented each other well. All of the ingredients were fresh and very generous. The crust was thin and just the right amount of crispy. Texturally interesting and loved that the toppings went all the way to the ends so there was no pizza bones in sight!
Service wise, also impressed with how nice they are. I placed my order over the phone and the person was kind enough to tell me that they were a little busy and it would take a little longer. Pizza was ready when we got there.

Bit down on an olive pit, staff forgot to make a topping change on our pizza, not worth the $35, person outside the store digging in the trash can. How did they get above a 4 star??? Still looking for a good place around here.

I had to pay a visit to my old pal’et Clair Voyáunt because she thinks her house is haunted and needs me to look in the attic for ghosts. Well, I told her I’d do it, but there’s only one surefire way to bring out a ghost, and that’s with pizza! So…Who do you call? You call Sandy’s Take & Bake Pizza……Because they’re the best!

We enjoyed a delicious gluten-free pizza while sitting outside sipping on $4 beers!! Kenny and the staff are kind and helpful. It was fun enjoying great food at a good price in a fun and relaxed setting.
The pizza was the best GF I’ve had. The toppings were generous and fresh. They even cooked it for us!
And $4 for beer? Wow. Haven’t seen that for a long time.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars as I like the idea of a locally owned take and bake pizza place. The interior was fun and I like the miscellaneous offerings here.
We ordered a large mushroom and olive pizza and the mushrooms were not fresh; they hadn’t gone bad yet, but they were getting close. The pizza also lacked enough sauce; It was barely noticeable.
I want to give this place another chance and will update this review when I do.

This used to be our go-to pizza spot. The food was better and the prices a bit lower than everywhere else. We don’t go often, but last time was a marked decrease in quality. Prices were higher as well but looked to be comparable to other local/independent pizza spots like Mambos. The pizza was not as good, looked thrown together without a care, and the medium and small were the same size.
Hopefully just a one-off bad experience and not the new Sandy’s normal.
